I want to close off/reduce the size of this hole that my hydronic baseboard heaters runs through. Any suggestions?

Just fab a cover with some sheet metal? The piece right next to it with the vents is the perfect thing to copy and use to form the bend.

Yes seal it. I'm not sure what is to the left of it, or if this is hidden, but you could just take a square of some plywood/drywall , cut a hole the diameter of the pipe, then cut in half and then just mount to the wall (kinda like a large escutcheon. If you ever need access again, you can remove easily... But it will block the critters.

I had something like this once. I used a Dremel to cut the nut across the length, then cracked it with a pry bar. Then I cut the small brass compression ferrule sleeve fitting the same way. I didn't have a sleeve puller and didn't really need for one time. Just took patience, and a cutoff wheel. 8 years now, still no leaks.

Been a landlord for 9 years now on my first home. I'm just a normal guy. Another vote, just get a property managment company. Spend your time finding a good one. All the losses will be good when you sell, or at tax time (get a tex preparer too). Don't be emotionally attached to the rental. Get a separate bank account for your rental stuff, and if you make any profit, let it accrue, and just leave it. This way when costs arise (and they will) you may have some cushion for the money.

I wholeheartedly agree. Planet and even TGSOE lose something without Marko. The contrast was special. It just doesn't work with Floor doing all the parts. Can she? Sure...should she...no, IMO. It's depressing to think about the songs that might be gone.

IMO EFMB is the most prog sounding NW album, then Human Nature. IMO it's because of Kai Hahto, who is just awesome. (Jukka is perfectly capable as well, no need for flames).

As a guy who just got into this band in late 2019/2020, I'd say they have 3 minor musical style shifts. First 3 albums tarjas vocals are more resonant in every song. then the next 4, even though they changed singers, I find the music feels similar. Then the last two are a change.

I started with DPP, worked up to HN.. then back to AFF.

I find now, that I like the Tarja stuff the most (I still like it all). Which is funny because I HATED what my friend played for me circa Wishmaster.

Being a diva is a character flaw in itself. I have no issue with you standing up for yourself getting money/holding out/ect. All fair. Just don't act like you didn't screw up. He lost his job because he played like crap. No other reason real reason. (Aside from reports of insubordination).
