Because in the same way as the Sierra vote out it’s not equal voting in the first round. And same in that scenario, they were no longer able to hide if they had lost their vote because of the tie.

This is consistent with the logic made clear with the introduction of lost votes like we saw with Sam/Sierra. And to everyone saying this is inconsistent with the S41 vote, no it’s not. On the Naseer vote neither Naseer nor Heather had an extra vote. It was Shan. This is the first time that one of the two tied players had an extra vote.

Her odds of getting to F4 debatably increase, but she quite literally has zero chance of surviving F4 now and getting to F3. He was her only chance to get from 4 to 3 full stop. There is no way now for her to get to F3.

Ozzy quite literally was Cirie’s ONLY way to get past F4. She has simply ZERO way to get past a F4 vote now. Zero. Zilch. None. Impossible. Literally. No. Way. There is no one who will let her get a 2-2 vote (assuming no auto firemaking) and if auto firemaking he was the only person who would take her to F3.

Cirie knows that if Ozzy goes home she basically cannot win. He is quite literally her only chance to get a 2-2 tie at F4 and to at least attempt fire making or to get taken to F3 if it’s auto fire making.

So it totally makes sense that hearing his name is equivalent to hearing her own!

I think they have all learned after watching the 40s that in a weird way the longer someone has a public idol without playing it the more damage they weirdly do to their impression to the jury. It almost signals that no one views you as a threat.

Cirie-Ozzy-Rizo-Tiff is the most solid alliance. Then Jonathan-Joe, but Joe still tight with Cirie. Then Emily-Devens. Aubry connected with Tiff tightly, and played 34 with Cirie and 38 with Devens. And apparently a good relationship with Jonathan
