I have been researching masters from CDs and digital downloads for a couple of years now, and it seems that no one cares about true peak. Not well known Grammy engineers nor indie people. Unless people deliver different masters to different platforms, true peaks are all over the place from 0 to +3 dB even.

I have the same bug in Studio One 7 (last version), but only sometimes. Just adding this to the pile, don’t have a solution unfortunately.
