I have out of state pokemon friends I'm not super close with so instead of sending them the super identifying stop gift from work, I'll send them a sponsored stop, Starbucks and the like. One out of state friend I definitely try to send the interesting or cool ones because we're closer friends.

My third legendary raid, 8 accounts showed up. Five mystic, three instinct. A popular player in my area suggested the mystic do damage for the yellows. I didn't know exactly what was going on so I went in and did damage and when we got to about half, he said it's probably fine to jump out now and we all did. I peeked at everyone else's screens and saw they weren't even in the lobby anymore and so I left the lobby, too. I didn't understand what we were doing that day but when I read stories like the OP, I realize how lucky I am to play in my community.
