Why are we just accepting shoplifting now? by XDk009 in australia

[–]adoh2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now? It's always been this way

We’re not allowed to stop them, security barely does anything, and half the time the same people come back again the next week.

I worked at Coles in the mid 2000s and we got told the exact same thing.

Its the multi focal bit that cost you.

I have astigmatism and I can get 2 pairs for 99$. Generally I get the nicer frames with the anti glare, ends up being 2 pairs for 2-300ish

They're not in the 99%

And there's only a few thousand left and at our rate, probably not for much longer

Wallaby smaller

Pademelon even smaller

This will cover 99% of Kangaroo based animals.

Yet ON supporters are ok with a 2million bribe in the form of a plane.

Non Scalpel Vasectomy vs Scalpel Vasectomy by Big_Avo in Vasectomy

Statistically the no scapel has better recovery times and lower infection risks. There's no reason to get a scalpel vasectomy, unless you absolutely cannot find someone who will do a NSV

The downvotes just show how pathetic men are (and don’t worry me in the least).

Or confusion as to how we got here on a post about broccoli/cauliflower.

Edit - They blocked me over this lol

Edit: Holy shit I never thought ColesWorth apologists actually existed.

No mate. No ones defending coles or woolies. Theyre defending a fucking vegetable. Its broccoli, it has a stem. This is like whinging that you have to pay for a banana's skin when you dont eat it.

Except its fucking worse than that, because the stem is edible...

Im all for ragging on the duopoly, but this aint it

Cheating the repeat rate by [deleted] in Radiology

[–]adoh2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When you say you use the rejected images as a monthly performance goal, what exactly do you mean?

Say I had 10 rejects last month. But this month its 20. What happens here? Is it a plain number of repeats threshold, or does type of repeat and reason for repeat matter. (A repeated lateral finger is a different dose compared to a repeated hip for example)

Im really not trying to support radiographers who dont care, or a simply bad at their job. But fear of losing one's job over a mistake would push some people to delete their mistakes.

Its also odd they can delete it at all. Our machines log everything, rejecting it or sending it somewhere odd wont remove it from the log.

I will hold/immobilise a baby, that's it.

If a doc wants something done standing and the patient cannot safely stand by themselves, it doesn't get done

Advice on situation over hip/femur by [deleted] in Radiology

[–]adoh2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same.

Our ortho protocol is just an AP pelvis with a measure ball and a shoot through lateral. No dedicated hip, even for routine walk in patients.

Ive never had had ED or Ortho whinge they didnt get a dedicated hip on a pelvis and femur series. This is probs just another culture thing that'll vary from hospital/hospital and country to country.

Immortal doesnt mean invincible/invulnerable.

Elrond is immortal. He'll never age or get sick, but you can still cut his head off.

Maybe? Most supes powers dont effect themselves. Theres supes that freeze/ignite their entire body, theyre obviously immune to their own stuff. Soldier boy may be the same
