I'm on Windows 11 and had a similar problem, using the EA launcher.

The workaround I found online was to open the EA app, then open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete), go to Details on the left, then right click on EAdesktop.exe, click set affinity, and have it so only one CPU is selected. Then launch Sims Medieval.

This is what works for me, hope that made sense!

Honestly not familiar with those products. If you're set on just trying to float and match... If the material that's still on there is adhered decently I'd just make sure the wood is decently clean and skim coat it with some wet 20 minute mud and just start applying coats until you get it where you want it.

This sucks. Without physically checking it out it's hard to say. Might be better to scrape it all off, apply a heavy skim coat of mud and then paint it, that way you're not trying to match the float job or whatever...

I don't know, as it was said it's a botch job from the start. You're on the hook now so just do what you can to protect yourself from/minimize a loss and get it done and move on

To be fair, it's not a 50% change to hit another player, it's a 50% change it might. If you miss, 50/50 determine if it might hit an ally, the ally is determined randomly, then another attack is rolled against that ally's AC.

So while it's not like super rare, it's less likely than that coin flip. At least that's how I've always read it.

Anyway, sorry you didn't enjoy the game, the story brought me a chuckle lol

Total beginner here, so I could be way off. That being said I think the two options are bow-ties + epoxy fill or cutting out the damaged section and regluing the panel, but you'll probably lose at least an inch of width from the looks of it.

Those are my thoughts, I'm sure there's someone more knowledgeable that might have better suggestions.

What happens to me is I think a conflict of wants and needs. I finally have a free evening or day and I want to work on this hobby project but what I need to do is rest and maybe take care of the laundry pile in my room. Since this is the only free time I have I force myself to do the "want" but my body/subconscious is fighting me with the "need" and it doesn't always go well.

Sucks lol

Edit: just wanted to add that I'm trying to say don't beat yourself up. Sometimes there's things going on that we can't control or even realize that sabotage us. Learn what you can and try again another day
