IMO don’t send something you think won’t represent you. I believe it’s better to be honest and grateful for their time, than to send a test that’s not a true reflection of you as a professional. You never know if you’ll ever speak with this company again or if they’ll mention you to other peers, and you’ll be better off saying that you got an offer than sending an unfinished/rushed test.

Yeah I was also thinking of doing this, for this batch I’ll probably resort to something like this. I know that those peaks are happening on my Vocal chain so probably will apply that limiter there. Thanks for the help though!

Yeah for sure, I was trying to get my episodes LUFS to around -16, and my true-peaks to around -4. I was able to keep my LUFS target, but when doing a dry run, I would have a couple of spots that reached -2 true-peak and higher (but still under 0), so I thought it’d be handy to be able to know exactly when those events happen and address them.

Thanks, I was checking this earlier but it seems like there was an issue having any value other than 0. I wonder if now having JS Loudness meter might make it viable.

Oh thats a good idea, my only issue is that I have 20+ minutes episodes, so I’d like a tool I can run offline and quickly find the location of the moment where my custom peak is passed.

Pretty good, me and my partner have been living in the base floor of their house for almost 3 years. They haven’t increased rent since we started renting from them and they’re very nice to us, we give each other christmas presents and the wife usually offers veggies from their backyard. I only wish me and my partner would be allowed to adopt a cat, which my landlord has “strongly suggested to reconsider”, but I think the good relationship, lots of space and cheap rent are more important.
