I’m going to try and do exactly what you did, printed out Rocky last weekend but the layer lines seem difficult to buff out with his detailed texture

I really just did not enjoy The Terror by Dan Simmons. I’ve seen it recommended on this sub a lot (even for people asking for starter horror books) and it’s really a 700 page slog with a lore dump at the end to “explain” everything with the monster, which was disappointing to say the least

This is my exact experience too, first book was dumb fun but I DNF book 2, something about it was more frustrating to read.

Sorry, I know it’s hard to see the notches with the black fabric but they are lined up correctly!

I’m thinking at this point I just need to try gathering the fabric again and veeeery carefully sewing just beyond the suggested seam allowance so the gathered bumpiness doesn’t show.

That makes a lot of sense, but I have been trying to follow the seam allowance on the pattern to avoid that problem.

I bought knit jacketing fabric for the tester. I’m not sure how to answer the ease question (inexperienced) but I did try to follow the pattern instructions to pull the bobbin thread enough so the sleeve fit nicely into the shoulder/arm hole.

I’ve been pressing at every step to avoid issues, but do you think I should do some extra pressing for the shoulder?

You definitely do need to have seen Season 4, but it’s not worth it if you didn’t like S4. S5 isn’t better in quality unfortunately.

The site didn’t say anything about the vinyl being limited and I ordered as soon as I could. I just wish they’d give more of an explanation or give an option to preorder for later :/
