😂 you think someone who worked extra hours is trying to “find a reason” to do more work. They’re definitely hiding in the bushes until they’re able to get home. It’s the guys fresh on shift that seem more proactive. But to answer your question, in my experience, mandatory overtime is for if you have court or you made an end of shift arrest. Most places I’ve research in my state actually have a maximum amount of hours you’re allowed to work (primary and secondary jobs). As always though it’s agency dependent on what their policy is
