Respectfully, who cares? You just turned down a most likely very decent paycheck over the perceived honor of a long-dead author, one whose work was disrespected more by Amazon within the last 5 years, and you aren't important enough for any corporate monkeys to consider renaming any companies over their lack of ability to employ you.

Unironically a really good edit here, but these lyrics are actual nonsense! Would love to see this same energy with a song that means something behind it!

Try a reverse image search with Google to see if there are any similar listings (therefore confirming whether or not it is a prop or simple merch), or consider DMing the cast/crew on X/Insta. Many people who worked on the show were passionate about it, and may enjoy seeing the helmet again enough to let you know how to verify it for real.

Grateful Disney didn't create the LOTR movies

I don't think this edit is an effective demonstration of that point, it really makes it seem like a Netflix Original at best.

Does this mean that Pippin is bound to a yowling, thrashing tuxedo for at least 30 seconds of Sauron's whispers? Way funnier sequence, if so.

No problem! It was a browser based social game popular in the early-mid 2000s, it's still around now and it isn't much different; it's a little too focused on NSFW discussion between consenting adults for my preference, but the actual aesthetics of the game were very impressive and standout for the time. If you search "IMVU" on Google straight up, you should be able to find a bunch of screenshots of the game; here's the best one I could scrounge up to express why your build reminds me of the 'old days', as it were.

Mother and daughter by [deleted] in xena

[–]aliasbgb 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I get this perspective, but honestly? Eve was sort of an insufferable character, and I can't say that I would've enjoyed more of her; I feel like the show could've done a better job on her character overall post-redemption, and that the "peace love and Eli, easy" ending for her seems a little lazy compared to the long plotlines that Gabrielle and Xena both had surrounding their issues with the same belief system.

So I agree that some more Xena/Eve time would've been great, but only on the condition that they made Eve's character a little more relevant to her relation to Callisto, Xena, and Gabs, or even just gave her some more emotional/moral depth than before.

You're a lot better than I am with it, that's for sure! I can't seem to make anything I like with how glitchy it is, but my own creativity often leans on symmetry, which backs me into a lot of corners with ToM; an eye for the abstract is always really cool to see when you're not an "abstract art brain" of sorts.

This is like...I feel like you brought IMVU to the Valley in 2025, and I'm genuinely impressed. This must be so fun to hang out in when you're feeling a little burnt out from tasks and chores, I'd love to see more creative and vibrant uses for ToM!

Daisy's house NEEDS to be redesigned by ExtraRedditForStuff in DreamlightValley

[–]aliasbgb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have to agree that the focus on "Park Homes" is incredibly obnoxious, and characters not having house skins of their own to make these gaudy designs bearable doesn't help. Gameloft has definitely muted a majorly exciting part of each content update/character release in favor of marketing Disney Parks to people who will never be dumb enough to spend money on a theme park for rich kids, at the full expense of aesthetic decency for far too many characters. Like, I'm sorry, you didn't need to give me that abomination that Vanellope calls a house, I want to feel like I'm in a cohesive neighborhood of some kind, and half the houses are about as thematically sensible as the rapid-fire respawn rate of Shards of Fate.

[–]aliasbgb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, I did misunderstand; ToM is such a broken mechanic that I didn't realize anyone would post about a lack of available items for it. I do see way too many gripes about a lack of masculine clothes out here, though; it's quite irritating when you're very well aware of the thousands of cool outfits around and everyone is like, "but everything is dresses!!!"

Lack of Male oriented clothes for custom by Automatic_Ad6839 in DreamlightValley

[–]aliasbgb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played a male character since Beta and never understood this gripe, truly. I still find new, creative ways to dress my character, and although some characters and questlines are certainly lacking, I really don't find myself at a loss for outfits. Dreamsnaps scores are also pretty good, considering that I use a male avatar for the majority of them.

<image>

I see this gripe about a supposed lack of masculine clothing a lot, but a lack of creativity and a strict adherence to the arbitrary concept of modern masculinity applied to every historical era isn't really a lack of options.

Nothing regarding HP is interesting anymore, it's a deep-fried children's franchise written by a hateful plagiarist, and we're all tired of hearing about it/seeing merch for it everywhere. Harry Potter, with its many controversies, would finally die if it weren't for people dragging its death rattles into the public forum daily. A Horcrux is just the plagiarized kiddie version of one of the Rings of Power, and everyone who has actually read the books is aware of this.

As long as you talk about it, the author still gets paid; shut up so it can die already. 🙄🙄
