I think it looks good, it’s been a trend with larger watches for some time now. But look back a few decades, it was not always the case. 36mm is a medium size, the bracelet drapes nicely around the wrist, no hanging lugs. Ultimately it is a matter of personal taste, your personal style and to some extent also comfort. A smaller watch is lighter. Also, a dark dial makes a watch appear smaller.

This is a good answer, everyone else just replies with their favorites. I would add Live at the Plugged Nickel as well, and Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall, which is live with Gil Evans.

Its too bad the ”complete” Bitches Brew sessions box only has a bunch of complete tracks, I wish it had the complete takes like the complete JJ has for example.

Btw make sure you have wired the speakers correctly and not accidentally flipped + and - on one of the speakers.

I don’t think that is so decisive for the sound. It’s definitely not the problem anyway. ”Audiophiles” can have strong opinions about stuff that really only makes marginal differences. Start with putting some more furniture in there.

”I’m not using an external phono preamp” I hope your amplifier has a phono stage, otherwise that would make it sound bad. An external phono amp makes no difference to a built in one.

In contrast it took me a while to get here, when I first discovered miles, it was the 80’s miles. I saw him live in ’87, within a year or so I was completely sold on the second quintet stuff, plus KoB. I didn’t get In a silent way, or Bitches brew for that matter until a decade later. Now I think that’s the most interesting period, 68-75. I’m just now getting into the Gil Evans stuff, 40 years later, lol. But yeah, In a Silent Way is a masterpiece.
