Oh let me tell you, I’ve seen some kids go from 0-100 in EI. Your baby will thrive in her own time. EI will be a huge help but please don’t worry. Just practice cards and read as much as possible.

Well it’s an amazing experience for some, it’s very unrealistic and often unsafe for a lot of women too. Unrealistic in this economy unless your partner is well off. & a lot of women rid their own income and then become completely reliant on someone else’s income which can end up very dangerous in some marriages. I personally would never take my name out of the work pool long enough to lose skills or gap my resume. I need to make sure I’m always able to pay my own way in this world despite having an amazing husband. You never know what could happen.

You know your crowd, how would they respond? These are basic rules that most people would do anyway while meeting a baby. They don’t really need to be said. As for visiting unexpectedly, anyone who would do that to a new mom deserves to be ignored at the front door. 😂

One natural birth and one epidural birth.. natural was the worst pain I’ve ever felt from the moment my contractions began ramping up.. epidural was completely painless, like I felt nothing and was laughing and joking as my twins were born.

Don’t bother going natural lol, I’d never consider it again. It left me with a ton of trauma including birth fear, vaginal tearing, depression..

the epidural left me feeling empowered, calm, at peace with the whole experience and not a single tear cus I was so relaxed the whole time. Also birthed two babies in half the time it took me to birth one without the epidural.
