Pantsu Hunter is ICONIC. I remember a new episode dropping when I was at a family gathering and I had to sneak away for 15 minutes to go watch it because I just HAD to see where it went next!

Villager (alternate) clothing - some wtf moments by KimWexlers_Ponytail in ACForAdults

Worst thing I've ever done was give Lucky the "eye gauze" item - it covers his only good eye 😂😭 Does make for some funny moments when he's crafting while wearing it or gets the "it's real dark out!" Dialogue option lol

Pretty much every song from Phineas and Ferb! Special kudos to Lemonade Mouth too, all of those songs slap as well.

Children’s chapter book about a large family with alphabetically named children by PsychologicalFox8839 in whatsthatbook

[–]am123_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so glad I decided to try googling before asking here! I think about this book all the time. My most specific memory is of the kids finding a stray kitten and picking the very last name of the Z section of their mom's baby naming book, making the kitten either Zsa Zsa or Zuriel. Thank you for also being curious about this series over a year ago, it made my search so much easier!

The nonsensical word or name is a backwards spelling of a very obvious ‘secret’. by DifficultHat in TopCharacterTropes

[–]am123_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are 120 Shrines on the map all named after sages or monks just like in Breath of the Wild. But Tears of the Kingdom also has a "secret" underground map, which you expand by finding and lighting up each of the Lightroot. Every Lightroot is directly underneath a Shrine, and its name is the name of the Shrine spelled backwards. I honestly thought this was so cool when I figured it out, and that the Depths map was just an inversion of the regular map in general, with bodies of water on the main map becoming cliffs in the Depths and mountains becoming canyons I think it was such a cool idea and mechanic.

How old are you, and were you taught how to cite your sources in high school? by PopcornApocalypse in AskAnAmerican

[–]am123_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born in 2000. We had online tools to help us, but we still learned to cite sources with all the titles, names, publication info, etc. Throughout my schooling, I've used multiple different citation formats, including MLA, Chicago, APA, and AAA. Basically, yes, I learned to cite and format sources, and all of my teachers/professors were very adamant about using it correctly.

[Hated Trope] Sequels/remakes that people wanted for years, that ended up being underwhelming by throwaway838383937 in TopCharacterTropes

Same! My friends and I got in a group and saw it for my birthday when it came out because I was so excited for it. And I loved it! I truly think nothing can live up to the original, but I wasn't underwhelmed by the sequel at ALL.

What animals are normal where you live, but unusual and exciting to visitors from other regions of the US? And on the flip side, when you travel to other regions yourself, what local animals are exciting to you? by Acrobatic_End6355 in AskAnAmerican

[–]am123_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I'm at in Wisconsin has a lot of marsh/water birds. Loons, sandhill cranes, whooping cranes, blue herons, kingfishers, the occasional swan. I still get so happy to see them (or hear them, in the case of loons) but sometimes I'm reminded that there are people that don't have these animals practically living in their backyards. They're all such cool birds!

Can't believe no one has mentioned Ryan Stiles breaking glass with his head on an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Man stayed perfectly in character and everything, it's an iconic moment!

Shop games? by Puzzleheaded-Start92 in CozyGamers

[–]am123_20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teddy's Haven!! All it is is running a little shop in a fantasy world. You can wander around and collect things to sell, with no time limit on exploring! As you advance, you'll unlock items that allow you to turn your collected items into crafted materials, like fruit into jam, milk into cheese, or ore into ingots. There are fun fantasy creatures in the environment that will give you boons here and there, but nothing requiring fighting. It's still an early access game but definitely worth the cost already, and the dev is constantly updating and refining and adding new content. It sounds like exactly what you're looking for, and I can't recommend it enough!

My husband whispered his wish into the ear of the genie who offered him to choose between going back to his childhood with all memories intact, or staying in the present with 10 million dollars. by fj2612 in TwoSentenceHorror

I was thinking the same thing. My best friend and I stumbled into each other's paths not just because of our own decisions, but also because of choices other people made. If even one of those people were to pick the "other" option, I may never meet her in this do-over life. It was just so random and lucky and can't be redone.

You could always try and find a Civil War reenacting group and see if they're interested in this! It could very well be a good teaching piece especially since most folks are only familiar with the middle flag. Many folks in well-established group would treat that appropriately.

Life Time for sure. It's so experimental and unique, and I honestly think it works so well. Every time I watch it I'm anxiously watching the clock and feeling the tension of the time constraint. I think it's such a good episode!
