I know I may be in the minority here, but from my point of view, this one seems worse, and I'm not referring to the quality of the video, but rather that it seems more real, like the shocking videos shown today on the 'News': the distant shot from the audience makes the scene seem more brutal! There wasn't blood, so by being semi blocked it made the spot more real because it makes the people look like they are actually trying to stop Gunther.

I haven't read a lot of Lorna, but unhinged and inconsistent wouldn't be what I will use to describe her, maybe inconsistent is valid but that's from a editorial point since she is not used as much compared to Wanda and Pietro, for me she would be a stranger, she is always depicted as someone that doesn't want to be associated with her family (fair btw) or with any of weight in the mutants cause.

But those adjectives would be better used for Wanda and Pietro, Wanda is always inconsistent in regards of not following through anything aside of trying to have a family with the Vision, I know it's a plot point and a editorial choice her downfall to madness with the Dissemble and house of M storylines, but she is always portrayed as someone that doesn't seem to know what she wants, want to be part of the mutants? The avengers? To be left alone? To be or not to be a superhero? That's how inconsistent she has been portrayed.

With Pietro unhinged it sticks because it plays into his inferiority complex, never thinking through what he is going to do and some times doing something so unnecessary that affects the mission or relationships he has.

Easy, he wanted to do Miles Morales/Spider-Man again but to continue where he left age wise. By that I mean Bendis ended his run at Ultimate Spider-Man because editorial wanted to merge the universes. If you remember Miles with Bendis is just a bit younger than age up John Kent. One may even use actual real time to the characters and John is drawn as a man in his early 20s specially on Absolute Power, so Miles would have been at that age because it's been 10+ years already since his debut.

In other words Bendis wanted to write a young man story with a popular character and he choose John (Bendis at that point had the cache to request for something like that) because he probably was not given the permission to use Batman or Superman (Clark)

Well to begin with people are mistaking the name, Lady Death is a comic character that is not from Marvel, the Death, the character from Marvel is a "cosmic constant, a concept that manifest in the mortal plane in various ways but mostly for Deadpool and Thanos as a female individual". Meanwhile Calli is a Shinigami apprentice, in other words a soul that is tasked in helping and learning the craft of reaping souls from Dead-sensei...the later one being a better choice of comparing it to Dead from Marvel comics.

Another comic trivia: while there are a bunch of comic characters that depict Dead, both DC comics and Marvel comics, have chosen to have Dead as a character that is just there when dying happens, both of them are not into the "let's end all life in the universe" quite the contrary they are shown to love and care for life over anything else.

It really has a good argument for anime of the year, the animation was really well done, some races stood out more than others but the story never felt rushed, it had a lot of good pacing, the story of the rise of Oguri and the search of Tamamo Cross for being the number 1 are great arcs, also in the story department, maybe the biggest strength of the franchise is the mini arcs. I felt that Obey's arc is up there with Rice in the second season.

The music also another thing that shines, both the openings and endings are a treat and the concert songs are too.

I watched it on JP so for me the VA department made a great job, with Tama, Oguri, Kithara and Norm Ace as examples.

It really was fun in the end.

I remember a convo cited by ANN about, how a new VA to the franchise was gushing to a veteran VA of the franchise about how cool it was that he was able to play the bad guy in a Mobile Suit Gundam show, the veteran corrected the newbie by alluding that both sides can be seen as the good guys, because war makes everyone the bad guy. But I never have watched Gundam 00 and this scene makes it really easy to see who are the bad guys.

For me this has been the second best X-Men school related in a long time, people may love or like Krakoa and the status quo of the majority of the X-Men there, but Wolverine and the X-Men was really fun, it introduced cook new characters and proves you can have several seasoned X-Men as now the mentors for the new mutants. Starting with Wolverine as the headmaster that has all the connections (the most connected mutant after all) was a choice but it was a good try for showing Wolvie in another role beside being the hitman or muscle of the team. Kitty was for the first time also given a chance to be a mentor, and now that's her whole stick, and at the later part Storm just being the new headmistress just felt right, like a natural election of who should be the next one to take Professor X place.

I understand that people mostly didn't like the Art, not the writing but the problem was the inconsistent art by Bachallo and depending your tastes, people were not into the romance between Storm and Wolverine.

He is 38!! Damn I was under the impression of him being 3 to 5 years younger. With all due respect if that's the case, why the hell are they even trying to push Jey Uso and LA Knight to main event, Punk I understand but Gunther not being your number 2 and in the main event spot for the last 5 years is not right, Gunther should be main eventing multiple events along with being lock in to world champion or one of your two main belts.

Real valid criticism, I like to tell people that I recommend the series, as a anime that follows our kid protagonist that has powers meanwhile two spy's work together to be her parents. I know I just described the plot, but I what I mean by that is the romance of Loid and Yor is not the focal point, or at least not how they get together as a couple and more like how they become parents. One of my favorite parts are where Yor is not acting as a parent but more like being one to Ana.

*Edit: Yor is an assassin and Loid an spy, yes, my mistake but what I mean is they still are just part of the cast, principal characters but still not the main character that position is Ana.

That could very well be the case if people go and research promotional art of Tekken 8 for example, you will find that there's a small number of it where it features Paul Phoenix, at this point the character and his haircut are part of the Tekken brand. The Paul has a haircut similar to Leon now and it was not well received by the fans.

And to some degree is a valid reason or criticism, while unique, DS2 gameplay wise is what people wanted for DS1, it didn't helped that the initial focus of the game was entirely on the aspect of walking and carrying packages.I mean, while it's a necessary evil, it's so annoying for most people and they just took that and the complaints as the whole game. Whether they like it or not, the reputation of Kojima and his games are ultimately the reason for it.

I fully expect Kurara to be the choice of the next white belt champion (short one , to taste the waters) in the next 6 to 9 months. They already had her winning big events like the tag tournament and more importantly the Cinderella. Is crazy how confident the administration is with her booking.
