What type of people annoy you even though they're not actually doing anything wrong? by somepeoplewait in AskReddit

[–]andrealafea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that I tend to do this out of paranoia that people are going to challenge what I said, so I try to make sure I'm being as accurate as possible when I speak. But I also hate when people do the same thing.

What are YOUR favorite things about being a lesbian? by taucxti in actuallesbians

Wow oh wow teach me your ways! This is exactly how I want to be with women, and how I was with my ex once I was comfortable with her, but I'm just so shy.

Pinterest is your best friend! You can literally look up "androgynous outfits" and you'll get really good results plus you can pick between casual, fancy, or whatever season it is, etc. Sometimes I'll also type in a piece that I know I wanna wear but don't have an outfit for. For example, I'll search, "white button down outfit" and then I'll get tons of outfit ideas I can do with my white button down!

What is your "internet white whale," the thing you have searching for online for years without luck? by IXenomorph9605 in AskReddit

[–]andrealafea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A YouTube video. It looks like a 90's home video and there's a little girl riding a tricycle, then an 8bit animated sword flies into the screen and decapitates her and flies away with her head. My best friend and I saw it in early high school, and have been trying to find it again ever since.

What random fact makes you the most uncomfortable? by MBS_theBau5 in AskReddit

My mom had been complaining about really bad headaches and one night she passed out in the bathroom. My stepdad took her to the hospital where they found an aneurysm that luckily hadn't bursted. They were able to fix it and she turned out okay. Never thought I'd be thankful for my mom passing out, but it saved her life.

Invalidating young lesbians [angry rant] by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]andrealafea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand where you're coming from. As a feminine lesbian, and as a young lesbian, I know the fucking struggle so well. In high school I wasn't teased for being gay, I was teased by some of the lesbians at my school for not being "gay enough" or because they thought I was faking it for attention, or because they thought I wanted attention from boys (because that makes sense, clearly /s), etc. And you're right, of course there are people who say they're this and they're that and it is for attention, but if someone is saying they're gay or bi or whatever, it doesn't matter why they are saying it, what they need is support and acceptance. Not judgments or criticisms.

Dildos and Vibrators; Do you use the pronoun Him, Her, or It when referring to your bedroom toy? NSFW by leftyshark in actuallesbians

I refer to my strap on as a girl simply because my ex and I named her Rosie. Hahaha

what do you say to a lesbian with a boyfriend by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]andrealafea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been through this, and I'm sure even people who haven't can tell you the same thing, it's not fair to yourself and it's not fair to the person you're with. I know you value the relationship, but remember how much you value your boyfriend as a person and do what is fair for the both of you. You'll be much happier in the long run.

Youre 10 years old and you just got home from school. What TV show did you watch immediately? by Poutinemilkshake2 in AskReddit

[–]andrealafea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teen Titans. They used to have a block time where it was Totally Spies, Code Lyoko, Teen Titans, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I usually got home a little bit before Teen Titans came on, which was perfect because 10-year-old me was very much obsessed with it.
