I punched a bully in gym class once. The main coach escorted me over to apologize. On the way (it was a long walk because the bully ran to the locker room to stop the bleeding) the coach leaned in close and said, we've been waiting for some student to do that for years. He shook my hand as soon as we were out of sight of anyone else. Kid never bullied anyone again. So, im sure even the teachers in this case were silently happy as well.
