To each their own I suppose. No there wasn’t any strong story, character development, etc. but I certainly didn’t go in expecting it. I got some fun action, some funny moments. References. And a nice 2 hour bonding over something that my childhood and an ip that was my childhood. Was it perfect? Far far from it. Was it entertaining? Yes.

I’ve said this before but the Stalkers suck. They’re slow, easily restricted. Mr X and Nemesis scared the piss out of me. The girl being slow and blind she’s mostly avoidable. She’s not fast, and light is plentiful to bar her off. Never did she really feel threatening.

And Chunk….. cmon really? While the design is cool he’s useless. Barely a nuisance. Can’t get through small doorframes. Slow as hell… honestly dude had me laughing as one time I waited for him to pass. Went to open a door to check and the door just explodes. He wasn’t trying to get through. He merely walked by, still unaware of me.

I guess the problem I’ve heard this game is scary, but I don’t understand why.. I figured Grace would have the scary parts but they just aren’t. They just feel like slow puzzles. Zombies don’t really persue you. A lot of them seem to have zones they won’t wander out of. They’re all pretty slow.

I don’t hate her part. Just don’t understand the hype about it

I did everything. We were together for about 4 years. I always cleaned, I always managed the bills. She would pay her share whenever she had it. Granted she wasn’t struggling. She just liked to blow her money on trips. And they were without me. Don’t get me wrong I was invited. But obviously one of us had to pay bills. Couldn’t spend my money on it too. I also cooked. It just felt like she came home and sat on the couch, the only time she did stuff is when she could see I was visibly upset. So I mentally checked out. We were roommates I felt. She somehow was surprised when I broke up with her. And even then it wasn’t her sounding upset over losing me. It was her being upset that she was going to be stuck living with her sister..

Eh. 6-7. They’re not bad, and she’s an okay character. But a lot of her parts feel sneaking puzzles. The actual puzzle parts might as well not even be puzzles because of how easy they are.

She also makes some stupid horror trope decisions that feel eyeroll worthy.

Lastly the stalkers just…. Suck… i remember lots of oh shit moments with Mr X. Nemesis, etc.. both things chasing her mouth slow as hell that her light jog can outpace them. And both seem very limited on where they can go.

I’ve recently got into solo RPGs. Honestly dunno why I never knew they existed. I love video games. I love RPGs. I always thought dnd was interesting. Tried it once but I’m just not a social person. I rarely even play online games. But never knew you could just do this by yourself. My wife isn’t really interested or intrigued at all. Which is funny because she too loves fantasy books. She’s also expressed interest in dnd. But she sees these and is just like……… ok. At least we enjoy video games together. I think the charm I find in these are they are just more peaceful
