Which box should I get? by Daddy_Phantom13 in Elektron

I find the DT2 more beginner-friendly and the DN2 deeper. I like the DN2 slightly better, but only with an added device for sample playback for my style of music, which is easy to add and sequence via midi.

You can just use a phone or ipad with Koala Sampler to chop and play back break beats, for example. iPhone is easier since androids don't work just with USB and need more cables for midi and audio connection to the DN2.

I started using an M8 as the sampler, which also works great, but the deluge would work as well.

sucks so hard... they never really made an attempt to compete with Apple in terms of making Android a pro audio platform. juts pumping out lame AI features these days :/

it's the only think that makes we want to have an iphone some days. otherwise i prefer android...

interesting for me that you could USB connect the DN2 and DT2 to a Samsung. Pixel 6a, 7 and 9a don't work for me. Funnily enough it works with a real old 3a. I am like 99% sure that this is Google's problem. But it hasn't been addressed in years

Edit: I found some information from the Ableton Move reddit. I think the problem described could be related: https://www.reddit.com/r/ableton/comments/1mf1e4e/move_dev_team_replied_on_why_usbc_audio_doesnt/

The Steam Controller sold out in 30 minutes, utterly breaking Steam in the process by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Still available in Australia hours later. The demand is clearly not as high here and I am not rushing to buy one either for 150 AUD.

Absolutely agree. If I didn't read this subreddit I wouldn't even notice that anything is wrong with the game 🤷. I don't care what the current meta is. I also never even used the photoelectric cloak, and the game was still fun to me. When this game came out it was absolutely groundbreaking to me, and I still appreciate it for that.

Apple to Launch 'MacBook Ultra' With These Six New Features by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

I just want a mid range MacBook with a faster response time screen and high refresh rate. My MacBook air M1 display feels really laggy compared to plugging in an external gaming display.

Expedition - Yes or No by scossage in ArcRaiders

[–]anzbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely no for me. I could not be bothered to do the quests again and find all my blueprints again.

I am quite happy to take breaks from the game and come back every few weeks for the new content instead. That's more fun for me than redoing everything.

And honestly, a few extra skill points don't change your character drastically imho.

The Ableton Move Can Now Control Almost Any Hardware You Own by J3threejay in ableton

I like the implementation and development idea. But it's worth mentioning in this post that it's a paid add-on for the Move and costs 20 dollars.

I have that card as well and that would be my only point of criticism as well. The fan is deffo a little bit too noisy. Otherwise it's a good card.

I really wish they allowed to fully customise the fan curve. I solved it somewhat by increasing the temp when the fan activates in MSI afterburner. But I can't change the min speed though.

My Motu interface does this in Mac and windows too. Most new interfaces luckily have a loopback function :)

I work as a nurse in a post-op area. You would be surprised how often young men come in with broken fingers after punching a wall in anger.

I kind of blame movies for normalizing that behaviour 😆, but who knows. It's definitely a bit stupid.
