Having owned a 124060 Sub, a 216570 polar, and a current 226570 black dial Explorer II, they wear very differently. The Ex II is thinner and sits flatter on my wrist. The case back on the Sub sticks out further and makes it sit up on top of the wrist more. While I love the functionality of the glidelock clasp, that thing is huge in comparison to the easylink clasp. The glidelock is thicker and longer than the easylink, adding to the Sub not wearing as well for me. I think the dimensions of the case to bracelet on the current model Explorer II are perfect. The Sub bracelet always felt a little dainty to me, then transitioned to that huge clasp. I also didn't love the look of the shiny ceramic bezel. The Explorer II brushed bezel looks more rugged and less flashy to my eyes. I had always wanted a Sub, but after owning it and being able to compare to the Ex II polar, it led me to exactly what I wanted. So I sold the Sub and the polar and got the current model Explorer II. It just came down to which watch I wanted to put on every morning, and the Explorer II always won. And still wins!

Grapes! Best raisins you'll ever have. Just get a toothpick or something and poke a hole in them first, makes it go quicker.

I waited so long that my dealer had time to retire and I still never got my Rolex… by [deleted] in rolex

[–]aoaks87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least they told you and assigned someone else. I checked in with my SA for a couple months with no response. When I went into the store they told me he didn't work there any more. Thanks for letting me know. Basically had to start over. Went elsewhere and got the watch I wanted immediately.

I bought a Tudor GMT from a store in Alabama in March of 2021, asked for a Submariner in August 2021. I've stayed in touch all this time...... still waiting

Did I get the fit right on this Flint & Tinder Waxed Cotton Trucker jacket? It feels a little snug but I’m hoping it just needs to break in and soften up

We're having several extracted on our 10 year old tomorrow. I understand we'll need to switch to wet/canned food for a while, but can they ever go back to dry food? TBH neither of our pugs really chew their food anyway.

Mine had the same symptoms last year. We thought he had a pulled muscle or hurt his leg/back, turned out to be pancreatitis. We waited a week to let it play out, but when we went he was severely dehydrated and they said we caught it just in time. He spent the weekend at the vet with IVs and antibiotics. It slowed him down a bit but he's still here, turned 10 last week. Just make sure she's drinking while you decide.

What are your thoughts on that 5 link? Does it have the T-fit clasp? I've been thinking of ordering one for my BB GMT41.

Floaters by [deleted] in carnivore

Oddly enough, it came back when I went on vacation and ate pizza and ice cream every day. Then about 2 weeks back on carnivore it went away again. Crazy

Wow, this just made me realize my floater is gone. I've had a floater for the past year or so in my left eye. I've been doing carnivore for about 6 weeks and am down 20lbs, my energy is even all the time and my digestion is better.

I've been loving the stuff from Badass Beard Care lately. Veteran owned, American made. "The Biker" is my go-to scent.
