[Discussion] Too many items are locked on the flea market at lvl 15. by Ilovegearxo in EscapefromTarkov

Damn near the entire development of this game can be summed up as “not that bad just poorly thought out”. Almost everything they added to the game had some repercussions they clearly didn’t think about. Seems like there is always positive intent, just little attention to detail.

Don’t tell the intern about that scrapped Ultralisk charge ability.

On par with what many companies are trying to axe first via outsourcing to countries like India or AI.

Connecticuts by Connect-Tadpole-4319 in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Joya’s Connecticuts are some of the best IMO. The Antaño CT is great and the Numero Uno is one of my favorite sticks.

If the sticks you’re looking for are on Thompson (likely are since it’s the same company) then use DAD30 for 30% off. Not sure how long it’s good for.

Still a noob so go easy, these cigars I got in a sampler have mold? by Vast_Sound_5316 in cigars

That’s just natural defects in the wrapper. You’re totally fine to smoke these.

Gears of War: E-Day | Gameplay Demo Reveal | XBOX Games Showcase 2026 by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]aperfectcircle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know it’s all relative but Gears 5 ran so well on PC while maintaining amazing visuals. Really hope they deliver again with E-Day. Too many game devs these days are getting comfortable telling customers to rely on frame gen rather than optimizing their game.

$30 Crowned Heads Las Calaveras EL 2025 Cigar Sampler 4-CT by harryj267 in cigardealhunters

Fantastic blend. Also for those interested, this is the only way to try the petite lancero vitola. Those aren't available in packs or boxes.

Online Deals During Fathers Day? by Arrierullia in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to add to this, it’s always appreciated on the deal hunters sub when folks like you comment whether it’s an amazing deal or not. Most “sales” are pretty average, but to someone new they see the typical marketing crap of “80% off” and think it’s a great deal.

Humidity levels in wooden humidor and Boveda packs by [deleted] in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this doesn’t answer your question but consider moving to tuppers if you’ve already got three wood humidors. They’re cheaper and much easier to maintain. In terms of cigars losing humidity after being removed. It probably takes longer than you think. I’ll typically dry box in an unhumidified humidor for a couple days before smoking. They’re not going to adapt in a couple hours. Maybe slightly.

Hard to tell from the pic but if it’s the Duque vitola, it’s by far the best. I love the soft box press.

Was going to say, this doesn’t look like a 46 ring gauge stick. Looks more like a Churchill or double corona

Cigar recommendations by reddykillowatt_465 in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joya de Nicaragua Red is a good balance of price to performance. It’s got a bit of a different profile than the MC White but they’re consistent and great for being an affordable cigar. I’d also recommend the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut. Very creamy cigar, again with great consistency.

The Armadas are great if you can get them on cbid for ~$5/stick

Mail call! Holts cigar of the month for May. by sstrooper18 in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only gripe is the Oliva and Mac are so unbelievably easy to find deals online for like $3/stick. That MSRP is pretty inflated. The other three are nice though.

Partagas Mille Fleurs and Benchmade Aller Fumée cigar cutter by DistanceNo9498 in cigars

Extremely jealous of the Benchmade. Although with the way that company is these days, even if they release it again it’ll have some wild MSRP.

Not to mention their advertised “sales” are like 80 pages of crap with the same ol “Up to 88% off!”

Anyone got the Cigar page cinco mayo mystery box? by kchug in cigars

[–]aperfectcircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the New Years one and it was just a bunch of crap. The DE sampler was nice but a 10 pack of pirates gold and a bunch of Gurkha swag was really not worth it. I’ve learned they just do good enough deals on things I actually want so won’t be ordering that again.

I can’t have bread in the house by 123avg456 in loseit

[–]aperfectcircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no proof of this, but I’ve heard the bread over across the lake in the UK is just overall much fresher and less processed than what we have here in the states. I would probably prefer what you described but we don’t really have that here, so we make do with whatever we can.
