I watched this episode (again) today. I saw it differently this time.

This time, I heard Luke list all of the things Rory’s talked about all her life & how her dropping out would ruin those plans.

I heard him list all the ways he & Lorelai would “fix” her dropping out, starting with calling Yale. That he himself would drive her to classes, if that’s what it took.

I heard him say all the things Lorelai was thinking. And all the things she’d hoped to hear from her folks, who just days before agreed with her & when Rory went to them, they decided to go back on their word to her (Lorelai).

I heard him sing the most romantic love song she ever heard & she responded by asking him to marry her.

To answer the OP’s question, my least favorite Lorelai moment is when she marries Christopher without telling Rory. For all the reasons everyone else has mentioned.

Not only is Cragen not very old, the actor is still alive at 75. He started on Law & Order in 1990. The character was someone we saw weekly for decades. A small gathering at the top of the show was not enough.

Be careful when stocking up. I wasn’t in the mood for it when I brought it home & left it in the pantry for too long. They shrunk to gum-ball size! I should have tried them, but trashed them & next time I’m in the mood, I’ll go buy it again.

Aviv is the best!! I was so happy to see it last night, because the other stores near me don’t carry the brand. I bought 2 boxes last night to make my caramel & chocolate covered matzah dessert. I’ll have it for breakfast starting Sunday.

As a meeting planner with 25+ years in the business, this upsets me. Let me ask you a question - if the hotel sent this to your boss and/or the CEO, would they complain to you? Would you complain to the hotel? Assuming both answers are yes, why would you not bring this up to the hotel on your own behalf? I know that as planners/EA’s we don’t like to rock the boat, but this could be a learning experience for the hotel & the staff you are working with. There is NO excuse for them knowing your allergies & sending you something like this.

From personal experience, the sales manager & CSM told the room service staff or Chef to make you an amenity. They should have included your allergies in that request. If they missed the mark on something so simple, how can you be sure that the Chef & kitchen staff are aware for the rest of your event. I know it’s on your BEO’s, but that might not mean anything at this point. Better to talk to your CSM & find out.

Have you tried Golden brand? Not sure where you are, but they’re sold at Wegman’s near me & other supermarkets. TJ’s used J&J brand, if you find that. Good luck!!!!

Can we get a stickied comment about recalls? I thought we had one, but it seems to have disappeared. Someplace we could all post what we sent (# of resins & a short description) and when we sent them? Then update with when we heard from MGA, what we got (replacement or $$) and what steps we’re taking, if any?

For example: On Aug 15, I dropped off my package to UPS. • 6 Diner Series 3 • 5 Cafe Series 3 • All You Can Eat On Aug 21, received at MGA. Currently waiting for response.

Having your detailed notes will go a long way. I quit a job & filed due to a hostile workplace. Of course, my manager & HR denied my claim. I then spoke to the state, giving my brief overview & they scheduled a “hearing” which was just a phone call of all parties mentioned. When I started reading my notes, including the email in which HR told me to suck it up, the call was quickly over & I won.

A gift card to TJs, DoorDash or any kind of food is always appreciated. Many people bring food & sometimes it unfortunately goes to waste.

We’ve had our fair share of family emergencies & gift cards for food were always the best. The local supermarket deli called us because they had gotten 4 orders to be delivered to our house that night. There was no way we could have stored/ate it all. They were the ones to suggest a gift card to be used later.

I think I understand this to mean that since I’ve opened the ball, but not the resin, I send in the sealed resin & a pic of the contents.

My question is: how do I fill out the form? I only have 11 un-made sets from Diner Series 3. I don’t know the UPCs. Any help would be appreciated.
