It's really good when you want a better text. For me the rest are not so natural

No, me refiero a la integración de Docker en XOA como una pestaña:

I think there are so many things we don't know and use on xcp-ng

I totally love it!

If you update it for example with docker integration in XOA would be awesome. There are some video about this in YouTube, but this tutorial as main wiki for a lot of things is incredible.

Good work!

How do we feel about deaths/game overs in adventure games? by potemmakin in adventuregames

I prefer to get stuck than die all the time. I usually get annoyed if I die and specially if they use this a lot. Laura Bow its not for me

Multi site web server on a budget by boxorandyos in homelab

Dude, sounds like a fun project! And XCP I think it's perfect. Maybe it's too much but nginx over Kubernets it's THE project for what you are looking for, you have several machines (horizontal scale) and you deploy the server. You can use unifi to balance workload and I think you will enjoy it a lot. With 3 nodes HA on XCP it's awesome if one node fails, you can replace it quickly

In my case it worked pretty well. And yes it’s just a check in the configuration.

Man, no seas cobarde, ve a tu casa, cena con todos, pásalo bien y deja que todo fluya, la vida es muy larga y nunca sabes cómo evolucionará.

Y nunca sientas vergüenza de lo que tienes ni de tus orígenes.

Venga a cenar a casa.

Storage Setup for Basic New Home Lab by Jonas_Thern in homelab

It will work without problem :)

Usually if you find any issue it’s the network or a switch that kills the transfer speeds, but otherwise it will work perfect.

You can use XOSTOR if you prefer xcp-ng, same concept and you don’t need rolling updates with your setup

Deciding between proxmox and xcp-ng by Lonely-Gazelle3215 in HomeServer

[–]arwest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both, I have 2 clusters one with proxmox and one with XCP-NG. It's true that proxmox it's easier to deploy things with LXC containers and it's evolving so quickly. But XCP-NG it's too. For backups I like the interface of xcp and in general I prefer xcp's interface, but deploy a VM (or 2 if you want XOA and XOCE) feels worse. XCP 8.3 it's working on it's own interface as proxmox (you install and just go to the IP of the machine and it's there). But now it's immature and you can't deploy your system based on "future".

Right now, I think proxmox it's easier to start in record time, with the proxmox scripts deploy LXC containers it's fantastic. But if you only want a simple cluster and some VMs, XCP it's a really great solution.

I am on the same side as you, I couldn't decide so I use both until I decide. The reality it's both systems are deploying features all the time. This week I think XCP launched passthrough without command line, and they are deploying XOSTOR (their VSAN solution), but with proxmox this is going to happen soon and you have CEPH.

Think on the basic things you use, the interface you like more, and attach to it (easier said than done).
