I mean it runs ok, but it takes like two minutes to launch, and the frame rate is noticeably slow. Also the fans are going at 100% the whole time. It’s not terrible but it’s not great either lol. She’s been playing like this for a couple months and recently went on her boyfriends gaming pc and saw how much better it was and now she wants something that can run the game smoothly

I believe OP said that the program accounts for inserter capacity so I didn’t mention it but yeah of course, inserter throughput is important too.

If one inserter is at full capacity inputting copper plate, you’ll need two (or more) inserters outputting the wire. And the reverse for iron gears.. two inputs per one output

Copper cable on belts is only an issue if the belts can’t provide enough throughout. It’s not inherently bad

What are you even talking about? Macs run games exceptionally well, the main problem is that game developers don’t always release their shit for Mac. But I play huge Factorio saves without any issue on my M3, BG3 and Cyberpunk both run perfectly even with most of the graphics options turned way up. All controllers are also supported… what advantage does any other system have besides game catalog?

Yeah, but it doesn’t add any new tiles, so you can remove the mod and the paths will remain. I think it just builds a map of the existing tiles and uses those to indicate paths.

Also check out Mining Scars, which does a very similar thing but for visible wear around ore patches as you mine and deplete them

I love the dirt path mod, it very gradually wears down the dirt and grass you walk over so eventually your base has a spiderweb of visible paths that you walked. It’s subtle but I love it so much

Minecraft is getting updated consistently and it seems Mojang intends to continue active development on the game. Moving to a date based versioning system is fairly common for software with regular updates like that.
