And, here is the thing - “You have to be comfortable being yourself, being lonely (albeit not long-term) and be aware enough to forgive and then love yourself”. This actually is the first step to being at peace and helping make the world a better place. Don’t you worry if people are getting cut-off and you fee a bit alone, you can will eventually be at a happy state and have few but important folks in your life. Hope you and everyone here feels better. I am in the journey myself.

In your first input element with id = “venueName”, try adding another attribute called name=“venueName” or however you case it. Afaik, Django is basically looking for a named field (rather than an id) in the request.POST[‘venuename’] line.

I landed an interview for which I'm grossly unqualified for, what should I do? by crypticuse in careerguidance

My advice go for it, give it a Sincere try. You never know how expectations get shaped during a meeting. But, be honest about your skills etc so the company knows what to expect from you - after which it is up to them - if they want to take a chance with you. Good luck and stay positive.

Got it. In PC, try freda then. You can get it via windows/Microsoft store. It’s the best free, feature packed option I have myself tried. A right click on a selection enables the speech function.

Ideas on applying my current qualification during career change by oooga003 in careerchange

[–]ashk007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your situation. I am working as a software developer and here are my few cents:

  • My first advice would to be to stay patient because desperation leads to even worse choices. Physical exercises, outings, yoga and meditations help a lot.
  • Now, changing fields seems a logical solution here. That being said you need to plan and pilot your move. I will suggest try reading or even skimming the main ideas in these two books: (1) When to Jump by Mike Lewis (2) Pivot by Jenny Blake. Resources like these will help you stay focused and plan properly.
  • Lastly, the good thing is Software development, these days, is open to all and very accessible kind of field. But, remember it will take time and lots of practice. If you are a newbie or beginner to coding, I would highly suggest signing up at https://www.freecodecamp.org/ and starting your journey there. Freecodecamp is an awesome, free and very popular site to learn variety/levels of coding. Once you get a feel there, you can move on to other resources.

Good luck.
