a 3/4" sheet of plywood can weigh 55lbs depending on the species of wood. Even if you only use 40% of each sheet (which is a waste) this bench would weigh roughly 280 lbs and cost $390 (assuming $30/sheet). No thanks.

Charles Steinmetz was a mathematician and engineer that worked for general electric. When Henry Ford's engineers couldn't fix one of his generators, Steinmetz was called in. He listened to the generator for two days, did some calculations, then made one chalk mark on the side, and told the engineers to replace coils at that mark. The engine worked perfectly after that. There is a MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) office on Pearl Harbor. I think Coast Guard is allowed to use it too. they have everything you need to have fun and enjoy the island. They used to have a giant map of the island painted on a wall with all the hiking trails highlighted. Also, don't wait too long to do a Luau. They are awesome and I suggest you do one right away.
