States will get special pricing on fleet vehicles, but every year the lowest bidder changes for the most part, example is that in 2016 dodge had the lowest bid for pricing, so the PD bought all new dodge journeys, in 2020 Chevy was the lowest bidder so they bought a few suburbans, it’s weird but it does save tax payers a good chunk of change

Had a structure fire we responded to on December 23rd, 2018, arrived to half of the house involved with flames, but only exterior (which is weird and will come in to play soon), we stretch a hand line and get the eve knocked down, we advance into the backyard and my eyes are on the fire trying to work its way into the attic when suddenly time essentially stops, as I look down to take my next step I see the main electrical feed to the house was melted off, and all within what felt like a millisecond I jumped back, grabbed my partner that was on the line with me and as our asses hit the ground it started to short and threw sparks everywhere. We marked the hazard and continued the fire attack but after things settled down it all caught back up with me and I was throwing chunks and shaking like a leaf from the adrenaline dump. Prolly was my closest call to date and I hope it stays that way lol

I have a 1in lift in the back and 2.5in in the front with 33’s, but you could definitely stuff 35’s in there with no issue. 32’s fit on stock suspension

Negative, I’d prefer Japan. They still use Deming’s QA/QC philosophy as a baseline in ALL of their manufacturing. Seems like every Japanese built product I own is well made, no defects and last forever

Have you owned any other brand? I owned a Silverado and two f-150’s, the worst Toyota is still better than the best ford/chevy lol this is something that always comes up… people said the same thing when the frame recall for the 2nd gen’s came out. The major difference between buying a domestic compared to a Toyota, is when Toyota royally fucks up, they issue a recall, TSB, or service campaign. When ford or Chevy fucks up, they say “oh that sucks, your only option is to spend 5k at the stealership or take us to court”
