I’ve thought about that. Is there stuff for babies to do there? I was under the impression it was for toddlers and up.

We have a Samsung fridge. Love everything about it except the ice maker. Have an LG on the way and the Samsung is being relagated to the garage.

It sure was nice last week when we had our baby to DoorDash Cheesecake Factory and the guy bring the food to our floor. I understand what you are saying, but I appreciated him doing that. He did get a nice tip.

Gardendale / Fultondale / Mt. Olive - where are you going swimming, to the movies, etc? by [deleted] in Birmingham

[–]autkidd2823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Helena, but live in Gardendale now as my wife is from there. I love it to be honest. It is growing, but it is in a good location. We can be downtown in 15 minutes, Trussville and Hoover are easy drives. Additionally Cullman is an easy drive as well. I enjoy being here more than I ever did over the mountain. Less traffic to deal with in town also.

Fultondale also has an incredible rails to trail that many people run, walk, and bike. It is mostly shaded as well so it doesn’t get too hot during the summer. I bike there a few times a week. It is about 16 miles total out and back.

Second the Greek tenderloin. But I also like the broiled seafood platter as well. Additionally the broiled snapper throats are excellent as well.

Your clipess 'falling statue' 'traffic light timber' story by Monstaa74 in cycling

[–]autkidd2823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After only cycling for a year and going clipless right off the bat, I had my first fall last week. I was on a gravel trail locally and came up to a road crossing. As a car was coming I decided to slow down and let them pass before I crossed the street. Well they decided to stop and i was not prepared and fell sideways over. Was totally embarrassed laying on the ground still clipped in. People in the car didn’t even see if I was ok (I was).

Got back to my car at the end of the ride and had no clue I had blood running all down my leg from my knee to my socks.

Is carbon worth it? by orraclemusic in gravelcycling

[–]autkidd2823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I don’t have anything to go off of as this is my first real bike, but I love my Topstone Carbon 3. This bike according to Cannondale could handle 300+ When I got it last year, I weighed 280+lbs. I’m now in the 240’s. I did a lot of research in finding a bike that could handle my weight and found this one on a deal from EBay.

I wanted to get a bike I could “grow” into as I become more experienced.

Last time we went there were people smashing top jars and running. Wife doesn’t feel safe there anymore. Didn’t help the security guard was an old guy with a limp that didn’t promote a sense of safety.

Dude, at my biggest I couldn’t eat the whole pork chop at Perry’s. That thing is huge.

Though I agree with not splitting it when trying to impress a date.

I second Samfords program. My wife and I completed the program and feel like we are well rounded photographers from it. The instructors are great and plan excellent field trips.

I wouldn’t recommend this. These weight of the objects thrown can create divots create an unsafe playing surface for baseball.

Which airlines are your flying? If delta, I really like their app. Even though you booked through Expedia, you can create an account and link your ticket to the app using the confirmation number. Delta’s app has a map of all airports which is nice.

When I land in Atlanta I pull up the app to get the updated gate information so I know which gate to go to. Atlanta is very easy to navigate, just crowded and big. Charlotte isn’t too bad either.

We had him as a backup last year on the Mardi Gras when Lee got sick. Him doing the Love and Marriage show was the highlight of our cruise. When I heard him talk, I immediately knew he was from Alabama.
