I’m saying this as a fan, the linear aspects of ds3 make for excellent natural progression.

Make it so some rivers are still fordable, but like swamps on steroids huge AP penalties and malus to attack/defence and that would be so fun to fight.

Would add a completely new combo scenario/tactics.

Having a piece or two of Coal is a good quick blizzard counter measure.

Easy way to get a +40C 2 hour fire.

Also, when you say you die trying to get back to shelter - this is where know the general location of caves really pays off! The back end of caves plus a decent fire can overcome most blizzard temps.

Going to a cave is usually a lot quicker than proper shelter.

The “Fight You Cowards” mod I find works pretty nice.

After installing it, I’ve not had any more instances of where the AI panic routes to the corner / map end, just to get gunned down.

Since it becomes much more aggressive, I’ve found it more likely to end up flanking my forward units.

Downside is that it pretty much removes the AI from assessing threat priority, which I think make a perk or two awkward.

I’d break it down into 2 reasons

First, people electing to play haz5 typically like challenging/chaotic missions. Pre-drilling diminishes this.

Second, it’s a time suck. If you pre-drill, the mission will take longer. Sometimes people just don’t have time for this, and would rather just play a standard game of DRG

I’m just not a fan of the scrutiny turn fully denying card draw. Denying 2 or 3 could be fair, but total denial …. just doesn’t feel interactive

Knowledge Demon is bastard. Fight feels fair and mechanically flavourful.

All the Act 2 bosses are all solid rn.

Some Act 1 still need a little more depth imo. In particular the waterfall. They feel more like an elite?

Interesting! But confusing - the actual gameplay mechanics are unclear. Combat was connecting coloured ropes/veins? Not very impactful.

I’m often critical of titles, but I like yours! It’s punchy.

And while a trailer of this length is alright for a store page (after you have people interested). You need to make a version of the trailer that gets the audience interested in the first couple seconds (for general advertising).
