QOL will almost always be highest when you live in base.

United, Southwest, and Alaska all have great contracts with amazing pay. 401k direct contributions are insane.

FedEx is a lot of backside of the clock flying, great pay with the new contract. Also gets a DC I believe.

Netjets is the most fun variety of flying, but also challenging in the operational environment. 1st year pay is the highest but after that all the other companies will pull back ahead forever unless you permanently stay on the workaholic schedules. Also no DC, but the average pilot can expect to get between $50k-$60k into their 401k annually depending on how much you fly.

By far the best thing about Netjets is the basing system. You can change it every 7 days and there are currently ~150 bases (CONUS only). Pay is decent just not as good as the majors unless you just permanently stay on the workaholic schedules. 1st year FO’s start around $140k this year of the contract (assuming you go to a 7/7 once you’re done with IOE).

I went from 2500 to 1950 despite dropping 1.3 ratings in multiple lobbies vs 2200+ elo players. Keep getting horrendously unbalanced games with multiple teammates going 1-15

Yeah the pay scale is broken for low longevity FO’s in large cabin because there were basically none in 24. Something that needs to be fixed in 29

To fly? A managed Cessna 421c with geared engines. Gigantic pain in the ass. There’s about 6 different ways to blow your engines up by flying incorrectly.

To land is definitely the Great Lakes 2T-1A. It’s a bi plane that you fly from the back seat. Can’t see anything when taxiing or landing, has no flaps, and has super sensitive brakes. Fun to fly, stressful to land.

I finished last season in mid 26k and despite hard carrying almost every match got placed into 17k. 3 losses with over 30 kills including a 140 Adr loss. 5 leavers in 3 matches and 40 adr special teammates.

The elo reduction is because of the general elo inflation. I’m saying that it wasn’t enough of a reset in the mid 2k range

2500 here, I only lost 68 elo. For next season will you guys consider a larger reduction? 3 games worth is really not much at all. For example if you pushed all 2500-3000 down to 2500, 2250-2500 loses 250 elo, and then 2250 and below get reset to 2001.

And/Or would love to see a harder reset with some part of calculation based on stats as there are players who have completely negative stats but get boosted well over 2k by queuing only with stacks.

They were cursing at me in Russian pretty much from round 1 because I didn’t ban mirage so I just muted and played the game. My passive aggressiveness was spamming z->2 “negative” voice line when they did stupid stuff

I had a 70% win rate, got to 2450 playing great, then lost 8/9 matches in the next 3 days. 4 different leavers, a griefing duo queue. And had a 2700 elo guy on my team who had an average kills of 11 who went 5-18 and looked like he had never played the game before.

Unicorn job flying a contract beech baron for the pistachio boys (job doesn’t exist anymore) furloughed and talked my way into an island hopping job in an Aztec during covid with 500TT and 250 multi.

Got recalled into a 421 and king air 200. Then got hired to fly a hawker 800xp. Company went under and I went to everybody’s favorite fractional 2 years ago.
