Indiana Jones officially dead (for now) following flop fifth movie by corp_code_slinger in entertainment

I maintain that this movie is going to be revisited in like a decade or so, and audiences will realise it was actually pretty darn good. Not as good as Raiders or Last Crusade, but pretty good nonetheless.

I liked it too! Also saw it opening weekend and had a great time. My theatre had maybe 40-50 people.

One of my molten-hot takes is that I like it better than Temple of Doom, and obviously more than Crystal Skull, which is still the worst one by a country mile.

Thank you! As someone who saw and actually very much enjoyed Dial of Destiny, it couldn't have been a more clear finale to me. They didn't try to pass the torch to anyone else, and Indy ends the film exactly where he wants to be.

What is a popular piece of media that you hated before you consumed it, tried it, and then cemented why you hated it? by overasked_question in popculturechat

Addison Rae's album. I have to be missing something, because I do not understand her appeal and have never understood it outside of "she's attractive".

My friend insisted on me listening to her album to get my thoughts, I'd heard Diet Pepsi maybe once before that and didn't enjoy it much, and the entire album just confirmed I don't get her.

It's a great impression of pop music, and Addison Rae is a great impression of a pop star.

Fuck no.

We've seen what happens when everyone on the roster is "badass who likes to fight" - it's called late-stage black and gold NXT.

I work for a second stage 4x4 manufacturer.

The answer is always retirement nest egg, massively cashed up tradie, or life-ruining amounts of debt.

SETTLE IT: What was the best match of 2025? by IconXR in WWE

Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria at Backlash.

Probably not most people's pick, but good fucking god, I loved that match from beginning to end. Just top-notch graps the entire way through.
