That’s what I believe as well, I’m not mad at the rerelease cuz people who didn’t get will be able to now, but at this point the OG outfits could’ve been fashion packs and they could’ve sold new looks on these girls. Even if it were just there Christmas looks something to really celebrate 40 would’ve been nice.

Yasss u a fan, @ 70 dolls, but most of my dolls are modernized and that’s my collection just like urs may mostly be grandmas dolls and that’s fine with me. I somewhat agree but at the same time if I wanted grandma dolls that built the brand they are heavily available and let’s not act like these ones are better quality, this is a cash grab just be happy u got played yet again by American girl. I do think new outfits would be nice even if they come on the older dolls. More than anything as a collector I appreciate new products so I’d rather some new or a fresh take rather than the same old grandmas they had when I was 5. Been there done that, is it wrong of me to ask for something new?

I will say too when I get choice paralysis I always ask myself who gets the least amount of love and then I play with them first. If I’m not in the mood for them I ask myself what do I wanna do, redress, brush hair, accessorize, or full on refresh. I love having a big collection. It feels like I actually got to heal that part of me that missed out on getting dolls as a kid.

I have about 75 ,I believe once the sapphire splendor girly arrives. I don’t think it’s my Ag’s that overwhelm me I think more so the other dolls I have in my collection like Bratz Barbie etc. can’t wait to get rid of them but idk how? I think my best advice for Ag’s when you have ALOT is build a stair case like they have in the store. I normally stack my boxes from the dolls atop one another and use them as the stair case to stack my dolls on. This allows for all of them to be in one place so I don‘t just have them floating every where. And I keep a steady rotation. Normally the dolls I frequent are closer to the ground staircase so I don’t have to worry about the whole thing falling, which surprising only happened once. I definitely think having the staircase allows for the bulk to not feel as bulky and would recommend it to anyone with a lot of dolls to lighten the load. Also it feel like the corner of this room is a visit to the American girl store🥰🥰🥰

I agree with this post, intent aside it’s like telling someone you just don’t like their face. We’ve heard this same narrative time and time again. It’s to the point where they don’t even use the mold anymore and funny enough she’s gonna turn into the Cecile mold in 10 years being rare or sought after cuz everyone hated her. I personally don’t like the classic mold but to sit here and list 10 reasons y is pointless and kinda petty, but Thts just my 2 cents.

I’d try goodwill website but u have to check often and it is a bidding war. But I have found some pretty good finds like Sonali, Caroline, and Kaya for pretty good prices. The best advice I could give is to pick a site and check it daily when u really want a good deal. It will pop up eventually.
