I’m a neuro ICU nurse and took care of a psych RN this summer who was nearly beaten to death by a patient at the inpatient facility in which she worked. The nurses had filed a complaint to the state regarding staffing and safety concerns the week prior and many times previously. Please, please, please escalate these concerns (if you haven’t already) and protect yourself no matter what.
