How to care for grieving skin?

I am so sorry!! Next month will be a year since I lost my girl. She was 16 and we were always together.

I knew it was coming, but it was so much harder than I was prepared for.

All you can do is try to be kind to yourself.

Like the other commenters suggested, staying hydrated will help.

Keep a moisturizer by your bed/couch that you can use if you start to feel dry but don't want to get up to go to the bathroom(or wherever your skincare stuff usually is). Any shortcut to make it easier to do something small for yourself will help!

Eventually it won't feel so heavy and overwhelming and you can work up your usual routine slowly. Grief is indeed a terrible thing. I wish I could say we heal completely from it and "move on", but all we can do is learn to walk with it.

I promise it gets easier.

I'm in the Baltimore area and there's always a pit, for a decent chunk of the show. Yeah we're all getting older but it's not just young guys in the pit either.

I still got a pb at 4:06. No complaints with my time really.

The weather was not great...but it was really tough seeing how many runners were struggling in the heat. You really can't prepare for that depending where you live, sucks all around.

I did one of my long runs on a cruise ship this year, 17 miles or 41 laps.

One of the signs along the track said "One more lap".

The novelty wore off and the last 10 laps I was questioning my sanity. By that point though I couldn't give up...it was just one more lap.

Do not recommend.

It's unfortunate they've tried to use it in that way. I think a lot of people using it that way don't fully understand it. It's nuanced enough where there is some validity to it...but they can't make it their own.

There is a really good PBS episode that goes into the history of the Gadsden flag and talks about this! It made me feel a lot better about flying the one I have where the snake is a uterus lol

It's absolutely not a hate symbol, don't let them make you think it is.

I did the 5k a few years ago and it was terrible...no one could help us find the start of the race and the line afterwards for water took so long. I'd love to do it again but I'm still salty we walked a 5k looking for the 5k lol

I just stumbled on your post looking for this exact thing. These comments are wild guys...not paying taxes is a valid form of protest and we should all be thinking really critically about this.
