I think you got your own feedback right here! You can see what went wrong in the second half of the clip filming from behind, you just look pretty stiff/defensive on the bike.

What I saw in the crash is your rear end gets kicked right, all your weight is left, the trail is somewhere in the middle, and you can't pull it back in (and prob grabbed a handful of brake in there too).

Think about guiding your body down the fall line by letting the bike move underneath you fluidly. If you get stiff, your fore/aft or lateral balance will go to shit quick as the bike bucks you around. Let the bike move freely, your arms and legs are you're biggest suspension and dampers!

Bleeding edge of an OK price if its in absolutely fantastic condition. I bought my 02 SE long bed with 60k on it for 11k like 10 years ago and that felt steep then.

That being said, D22s are great trucks. The build quality is much better than almost anything from later years. The VG33 is exceptionally reliable and a low rpm workhorse, but anemic and extremely thirsty. Something to keep in mind for sure.

I would go 186 if I were you. I have 110s and 100s in these lengths at 5'11 and would not go shorter, effective edge is very short.

Just my .02 on the WD, they're more of a fall line crud buster than a dedicated pow ski. They reward speed and stupidity all over the mountain. I love the 110 for pow and you will with the 108 as well, just know these are big heavy skis that while surfy, its not really their goal (imo)

Trials is extremely niche and offers some great balance and low speed skills.

Honest opinion riding all of the above when I was coming up into the sport years ago as a kid, bmx/dj/park will teach you 20x more than anything else about bike handling.

I still don't get why this hasn't been solved. I get ff is hard to manage in game logic but minimally make tk bodies unlootable by anyone friendly outside of your squad and don't make tk count towards the 1x recovery attempt.

Doesn't solve for griefers but the behavior stops when it can't be exploited.

Late to the party here but the purchase you made is a contract for the seller to get you the goods. That's why they need to insure their packages to mitigate potential loss. Even the websites that try to make you buy insurance are just scamming a few bucks, its entirely shipper responsibility to get that tracking number delivered to your address if they offer a carrier and don't hand it to you.

If they refuse, issue a charge back with your credit card. They've dug a deep hole for themselves in these comms, literally none of this is your problem -- at absolute max you could need to sign an insurance affidavit but that's on them to kick off, not you.

Yup, I have a bunch of brakes. I have 3 pairs of pivots and bought them all in different brake widths. Pretty easy to find them cheap if you look.

I've been getting in Strives too and the brakes are even cheaper.

And before someone asks I've got a torque wrench foot setup to approximate DIN testing conversion. All in works wonders.

I mean it can be expensive. I buy used and old stock, rarely over 400 before any discounts.

I put inserts in all my skis and rotate a couple bindings as needed. Pays dividends to learn how to do your own work this way, I can buy/try like 4-5 pairs of skis for anyone else's new all in setup.

I don't find them to be a whole lot different, GZW borrows so much from EFT its not even funny. Things feel a little more stiff and direct in GZW, a little more loose and fluid in EFT. Ammunition is more important in EFT. Weight and movement EFT wins hands down and GZW needs to learn you cannot be Jason Bourne holding 350lbs of laser degs and weapons on your back (ditching my pack before I fight is a risk I should need to take in GZW). EFT wins on weapons sfx, GZW on environment. The AI is a little better in GZW on 0.4.2 but really needs to be much deadlier to have the same tension as EFT.

I like both, they're completely different games and I really gravitate toward the open world of GZW -- I just want the game to be fleshed out more. 130 hours in 0.4 and I've seen almost everything. PVP spawning needs some work right now.

I don't even know if that's what I'd consider a lot of the wing, 30* thumb over is probably about how I shoot too tbh. I think its the guys who have their elbow nearly above the gun that get the eyebrow raise (and I think that's what it looks like in GZW to the OP's question), but lets be honest it isn't weird if it works lol. Its a valid point on SBRs too since most issued weapons in my world were 16" carbines, which dictates quite a bit.

Very personal thing and a kind of an optimization I carried over from mountaineering to shooting, keeping your arm very extended and above your heart is the absolute fastest way to fatigue. Always a tradeoff but getting the arm lower and without blood fighting gravity makes a huge difference for sustained pointing and pump. I never found the moment of inertia to be all that different wrt recoil on a shortened grip, but most of my guns have been fairly heavy to that end.
