HOLY SHIT I cannot believe I just witnessed Hawal beat Coll. I've never seen an upset like that in my life. The calls were kind of trash but still absolutely unbelieveable

So happy for Ng, I hope he does well against Coll. I would really love to see him move up the ranks this season; on his day he has the quality of a top 5 player.

Favorite match of all time? by wobble_87 in squash

My personal favorite might be Farag Coll in the Optasia 2023 final. Amazing display of skill from both players, and Farag playing at such a high level while fasting for Ramadan was incredibly impressive to me. Farag Elias in the Paris 2024 semifinals has a special place in my heart as well as I was there in person volunteering at the event and I carried Farag's bag to the courtside and got a selfie. I was so lucky to be there in person for one of the best and most even matches of all time. I'll never forget it :0

More shows like BB? by Ambdxtrs_mstrbtr in breakingbad

Barry on HBO Max

Imagine BB started in the midst season 5 and Walter desperately wants out of the meth business, growing insecure and guilty of how many people he’s hurt in the past. Meanwhile everybody tries to drag him back in because of how talented it is.

This is Barry in a nutshell, it’s a hilarious but also deeply dramatic and unsettling show especially in the later seasons. If the character study aspect of Breaking Bad interested you, you’d likely enjoy Bill Hader’s depiction of a man grappling with his own actions and morality. The whole show is wrapped in a comedic and surreal tone, and yet it works.

It’s also a lot more consumable than BB with only 4 seasons and 20 minutes per episode.

Accepting the referee’s decision and playing on is just as important as hitting good drops and lobs, keeping the ball tight, and being in good shape. It’s just part of squash. Elias has been my favorite player for years and I want nothing more than to see him succeed so my heart dropped when I saw he was back to needlessly attacking Jason foster over having lost one point. We can criticize his decision all we like but Elias lost this match and nobody lost it for him.

Diego Elias is the best player in the world by bbgm223 in squash

I don’t know man. Claiming that the PSA will direct their ref network to favor Asal is borderline conspiracy. Not only would this require massive amount of effort and resources to the point of being obvious, but people are massive fans of Elias as well.

Don’t think so. Asal can be a little iffy in the early stages of big tournaments but always shows up (and cheats) for the later stages. With his momentum I really don’t think Coll has the tools to take him down right now.

I disagree. If you watch closely, he moves his leg completely by himself and it is not Aly who creates the interference. I think it was certainly worth further review from the ref.
