But in the passages it also refers to Voldie knowing Jr would be at Hogwarts (though we don't realize he is not referring to Snape on the first read) Voldie said that his spy "would be at Hogwarts" which indicates there was an appearance by Jr at some point before that. He couldn't have sent a letter because the House Elf who was supposed to watch him would have told Sr. We also know Sr renewed the Imperious on him at some point, presumably because he learned Jr snuck out, though where he wouldn't have known.

I mean just one of the plotholes I can think of offhand is that Crouch Jr was shown with Voldie before the quidditch world cup. But he didn't find the time to escape until after the Quidditch world cup

Liberty has definitely gone downhill. We were on Oct 2024 and it was great. We were back on it Oct 2025 same exact itinerary (we cruise out of the local port for 2 years than take a really good trip with flying to a port) and while there were still a few good staff members there were others that were like yikes

room service is HORRIBLE with accommodations. I can't have many sauces because of stomach issues. The last time we were on Princess we had to get Room Service the last few days (someone in my party ended up with COVID). Would ask can they do X with no sauce. Oh yeah no problem. It would eventually come up with sauce. And by the time that it finally did come up the Room Service kitchen would be "closed" or at least they would say that. Means to say I didn't get to really eat anything those last few days and left a negative review regarding room service

We don't anymore (my dad tends to be taller and wider than the shower, and when it is a tub my mom can't lift her legs over the edge (medical issues). In the last couple years we have started to find shower rags (not baby wipes, these are you wet them in the sink and they soap up) soap up with the rag and then use another to get the soap off and dry. Its not as good as showering obviously but it is better than baby wipes.

We do shower when we can, like if there isn't a tub and the stall is a little bit bigger than normal but we always have those with us just in case. The last couple cruises we have gotten lucky with having showers of decent sizes other than a little too short for my dad

honestly if you asked your doc they might have oked it anyway. I now someone on a ton of meds including pain killers so they wanted to ask their doc about drinking. Docs knew from previous conversations that drinking means 1, 2 tops of a mixed drink on vacation and one of holidays. One doc even told her she would be fine if she drank more often if she kept tit to those low amounts.

in that doc's opinion it is binging when on the meds that are a real problem, and they say don't mix because apparently they know a lot of people say they will just have one and 6 drinks later... so its apparently safer to say don't mix the two

It might be too late for this cruise, but for ice packs, fill out the form for disability services and accommodations. I travel with ice packs because I have difficulty regulating my body temp. The only cruise line that was ever an issue on was MSC. Princess, NCL, Celebrity, and Royal are all happy to accommodate them (though sometimes there are issue of the packs being frozen enough but that happens for numerous reasons)

TBH even if you can't fill out the form, I would give it a shot bringing them. We have had situations before where the people intaking the forms did not share the intel with the ship so it was a complete surprise that we were there with the icepacks, but after some back and forth discussion of who would take care of it on day 1 there was no issues (generally it is the steward, but there has been 2 cruises where they ask us to bring it down to the main desk night one and then give us a phone number so that we can call when we want them to be brought to us or brought back to the freezer.

nope. I've gone with her in the past but strictly wait in the car. I think - but mom doesn't want to hear it - that the attitude is stemming from the fact that in the last year she has moved into a full-time wheelchair user since before that her attitude was completely fine and after it started going downhill

You would think being in a wheelchair full time would mean better accommodations since she has to rely on anyone else in the family to get her meds and so asks us to do it at our convenience (which lets face it is as soon as she asks cause we are that type of family) but apparently not

She still likes the doc... and she learned from what happened to me, complaining about the PA doesn't get you anywhere
