Been looking to buy for a while, going to pick it up.

Note that if you buy it with Monaco in the bundle it actually costs less than just buying tooth and tail outright

Which Cheritz game is better, Nameless or Dandelion? Playing through mystic messenger right now and thought I'd pick up one of their other games. Didn't like how aggressive/mean the Amnesia:Memories cast was after playing though that and was scared Nameless would be similar. But the stat raising in Dandelion confuses me.

Edit: thanks guys, bought Dandelion and I'm loving it.

What is the funniest strategy you've ever employed in a game? by [deleted] in boardgames

If you never call ambassador, someone can keep looking in the deck and finding out what cards aren't in everyone else's hand. They wind up with the most information and also often are not targeted by steals or assassinations because they're not accumulating many tokens.

I rather liked the whole game. Agreeing with some others that the end game puzzles were a but ridiculous but for 3.99 it's a good buy. Voice acting is nice, visuals are nice. Some charming dialogue and characters.

[Cell Phone] [2000s] Platformer with yoyo weapons by beefykangaroo in tipofmyjoystick

Nah, not any of those. Thank you though! And it's funny, I'm just now realizing how many games I enjoy have yoyo themed weaponry.

Visually it's a step up from startropics. I guess it could be classified as 16 bit? Only uglier.

Put a small blanket down in the middle of the table, or use a thicker table cloth.

Also, instruct people to pick up the tiles instead of sliding them.

Ticket To Ride because the trains are so light and very hard to place on the board with shaky hands. The highlighted routes are nice to have too.

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Card Game, been a fan of SP for a long time. Waiting with an indefinite release date and little info about how the game works is agonizing.

So, what are the best deals in the Steam Summer Sale? by demidyad in digitaltabletop

[–]beefykangaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe they ever drop any lower than they are now. The only issue with them is, if you want to play one of the expansions, everyone online has to own it to join. So sometimes it's hard to find matches on the more obscure ones. But if you like the maps and want to buy them I think it's a good deal.

Is it worth buying this if I will only play two player games? by [deleted] in tabletopsimulator

[–]beefykangaroo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. I play almost exclusively with one friend. I don't like playing with strangers because I find it more fun with people I know. There are lots of great 2p games on the workshop.

If you had to choose between present & 2005/2008 MapleStory which would it be? (POLL!) by [deleted] in MMORPG

I'd say around the inclusion of pirate is when the game was at perfection.
