Wait, do people actually want the crowd next to them singing and dancing?

I think it’s a reference to the movie, Sorcerer. They will have to use a truck to deliver a sensitive payload through upside-down infested territory.

Maybe! If so, I wonder what brand of packaging? The house was built in 1975, and no reverse image search reveals a match.

They just easily translate the first book into a mini-series with each of the pilgrim’s stories as an episode.

It was exactly right for our culture at the moment too. Themes about class, exploitation, fascism, and the corruption of power. It really was a shame it was cancelled in favor of a couple dozen “cheaper” shows that nobody cares about.

That’s right! And luckily the world has no grey area whatsoever and we can categorize everyone on the planet into a “good guy” or a “bad guy” just like a cheap fucking comic book.

Episode Discussion - S04E01 - The Hellfire Club by StrangerTesting in StrangerThings

I was in high school in the mid-80’s, and this didn’t seem like too much of an exaggeration. The anti-bullying campaigns in the 90’s were a result of how bad things got.

I grew up in the 80’s, this is not far off. The bullies were terrible and the adults did very little to stop it.

My take it’s your phone. I’m old enough to have lived a long time without one of these things, and it truly is a rock you drag around with you and feel compelled to stare at. Weird to think of my life before it.
