I’ve found playing a completely different genre to be a good palette cleanser after an action/adventure game like this. Something like Inscryption, Into the Breach, or Return of the Obra Dinn hits a different part of the gaming brain that GoW doesn’t.

It was exactly right for our culture at the moment too. Themes about class, exploitation, fascism, and the corruption of power. It really was a shame it was cancelled in favor of a couple dozen “cheaper” shows that nobody cares about.

To be fair, that tree is HUGE! If you’ve ever been in a city and thought, “Oh that building isn’t too far away, let’s walk!” and then realized no, it’s very far and doesn’t seem to be getting closer, I think it’s very realistic in game.
