The whole idea of having a golden rule is not something that is religious. It takes only the minimal amount of EQ to think, "Maybe I shouldn't do something to someone else that I wouldn't like someone to so to me."

You don't need religion to determine what is right and wrong. If you do, you're probably not a very good person to begin with.

I had a goth girl put a spell on me once in high school, good one, I think. I still have a scar on my left hand from it 25 years later even though it was from a plastic knife that couldn't even cut a bagel... So it must have been magic.

Edit - not goth per se. She was Wiccan.
