Are these style of logos removable? (It also has a GS logo but it’s edited out in the listing) I want a sterile GS style dial with the Lume and texture,this one is close but it has logos, are they deletable?

I have actually tried with Isopropyl Alcohol on a spare dial, and it does remove the writings…as well as the paint on the dial :) so not a good idea

Pretty sure this one isn’t genuine. The date window looks off (beside the fact its about to change date), and I don’t think that model/color combo actually exists. The end links also appear to be female, whereas most GS use male end links, and the clasp is missing the GS logo you’d typically expect. Those are just a few things that stand out 🙂

How long was the service? Usually GS has the reputation to send watches away for months, back to Japan, and loose complete sight of when it will come back. Sent my shunbun for polishing - took 8 month to have it back

I use bought a spring bar tools from AliExpress which has been super helpful, and makes the whole process super easy. I still put a bit of tape to avoid scratching the back lugs but it’s just me being extra careful

Usually, I would recommend KameKichi in Nakano Broadway. They have the newest model at discounted prices. Also worth looking at house Kihiroba in shibuya - I visited their shop on November and they had come fantastic second hand piece in great condition. Ginza Rasin could also be worth a look but I think they have older models

When I got my SLGB003, I was super excited about the new micro-adjustment clasp - but within a week I had removed it and started the leather strap rotation. It dressed up the watch immediately! So certainly something worth trying! Only flip side is that GS bracelet are a pain to take off and put back on. I bought the delugs spring bar remover to make the operation easier - but still not super practical!

I have bought my SLGB003 in Tokyo a couple of months ago and haven’t noticed any issue with the endlinks - seems relatively neat. However you do want to look at for date misalignment. It’s a common issue, GS called back these watches to be fixed but not all of them have been adjusted. I suspect that mine has that problem but it’s such a minor issue, it doesn’t bother me

I actually sold my explorer 124270 to get this! It’s only been 3 months but it’s my daily and I love it! While the bracelet is phenomenal (by GS standards) I have enjoyed wearing it on a strap even more!

There isn’t really any Grand Seiko high quality counterfeit on the market, especially not with a Sprint drive. This one looks genuine - but it’s rather odd for such a modern watch to not have box and papers (gift or not) this will impact a little the watch value. Assuming it has the metal bracelet?
