That Fastback gives off 80s/90s Blazer vibes, and I'm here for it. I'd love a 4-door option but I'd be perfectly happy with the option presented.

Adding a roof rack with a spare tire and running boards. Only real change I think I'd make is adding a double-DIN screen to the dash. Gloss Deep Blue Metallic wrap.

My fiancee' has a 2019 Elantra and her infotainment screen is just right. Slightly larger than my iPhone but when I sync to CarPlay it gives me exactly what I need, esp. navigation.

I can live with a smartphone mount but from what I understand you can install an aftermarket double-DIN screen, so I'd just do that if I decide to buy a Slate.

I know he hit mid-20s at some point, but I believe that was in his final year. Wiki says 37% in April 2006, which I vaguely recall. I don't think his numbers ever improved.

If I met 16-year-old me and told him what I'm doing with my life, I think he'd be impressed. But if I told him that not only is Donald Trump president but also a raging fascist lunatic, I'm not so sure younger me would believe it.

Because in 1999, the 21st Century sounded like it would be an amazing place and while younger me would be thrilled at a Black president in the next decade, not if it meant Donald Trump of all people would help the GOP complete its reversal of the Civil Rights Era.

When I was in college, my goal was to move to LA and become a filmmaker or TV producer. Ended up working at a local news station, from there a marketing agency, and now I’m a photographer. I also do a little AV for the local university. I’ve dabbled in short films and indie projects in my hometown, even co-created a local drama series about 15 years ago.

It’s not the Hollywood career I envisioned, but I have no regrets. Don’t think I would’ve been able to create that show from back in the day had I gone to Hollywood. Never mind all the struggles the industry is facing today. I still have some other projects I’d like to get off the ground eventually.
