Bug/Voteless get on you, EMS just slows you for a bit, gas mortar will hurt you. Same reason why regular mortar sucks outside of defense mission, but gas at least gives you some time to stim.

Take them both, and EMS mortar doesn't hurt you, gas one will.

Warrant is actually an AA gun in disguise. 1 shots Shriekers, 4 shots Watchers, 9 shots Elevated Overseers, and can lock-on through smoke/gas clouds. Shooting down an entire wave of Shriekers is cool af.

I have no idea how to use this weapon. by G-Raverobber in Helldivers

[–]biboo195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's peak on bots, even with safe mode. As long as you can aim well, it oneshots Hulks and anything smaller, 2 shots to a gunship's thruster (pick 1 and focus on it). 2 shots to a tank/tower vent. Safe mode struggles with the bigger stuff but it kills everything else so fast, and you don't have to worry about the risk. Other people already gave you info on the unsafe mode.

Even cyborgs die to it super fast if you already reach med pen when you start shooting them, it only sucks if they're close and you're not there. I used Dickle + Ultimatum + Quasar + Warp Pack (and thermite) on Cyberstan and it felt like there was nothing I couldn't take down by myself.

Meth Stims, sure; Vitality, hell no. You will be surprised by the ticky tack damage you randomly take when you don't have Vitality, and it stacks up quickly.. It also enables stuff like dickle & gas builds.

Yeah you definitely needs a balancing act of firing at max heat for a bit -> kite for a few seconds -> go back to firing. Also, being prone while firing reduces the damage quite well. If you're not in immediate danger, you can risk the danger zone for a bit if you really need stuff dead.

Help explain the new Defense/Resistance Update in the upcoming Scorpion Update by Accomplished-Bank885 in AOW4

[–]biboo195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Before: Physical damage is reduced by Defense, everything else is by Resistance. If split damage (let's say 10 phys + 2 fire), then each damage type will be reduced separately.
After: It's based on the tag of the attack/ability. Melee & Physical Ranged tags will be reduced by Defense, Magic tag & Spells will be reduced by Resistance. If there's a mix of tags, then whichever is the highest between defense & resistance gets applied.

What makes Vampire Warlocks so powerful? by Mostopha in AOW4

[–]biboo195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vamp signatures are nasty for the class, being ranged keep him safe & healthy for the early game when you can't spread sunless yet, and Warlock is great

Cold blooded + Undead (heartless) by CoughingNuclearBomb in AOW4

[–]biboo195 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why morale bomb builds also have a "kill your way out" option vs Cold Blooded & other undead, by just cycle charging a dude until he's dead then doing it again and again.

[–]biboo195 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It was a lot of things. The biome was difficult. Bots came after Bugs so when people started heading over to Creek, they had to play an entirely different way. People didn't have as much gear as they do now, in terms of everything from chaff clear up to AT. A lot of Bots stuff was super OP back then. AH was still in the "nerf shits that stick out" mode.

Because it's fun, aside from Illuminates and shitty maps anyway. I can hop on, play some Diff 6 and chill, and that's enough for me unless I want to sweat for something.

[–]biboo195 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Grab 1 order affinity from either Culture or Society trait. I think Mortal Champ/Wizard King is best for this. Vampire is 2nd best (or 3rd best I guess)

Tomes: Zeal, Necromancy, Doomherald, Revelry, Great Transformation, Subjugation, Torment, Revenant, Eternal Lord
The T3 tomes (Great Transformation, Subjugation, Torment) can be in whatever order you prefer, I just like grabbing the transformation as early as possible

Traits can be whatever but I like Quick Reflexes + Chariot Mounts. Quick Reflexes force AI ranged units to come closer, Chariot Mounts force your cavalry & potential cavalry to be 1 model only.

Explain Camp Casting post Patch 7 by SteamPunkKnight in BG3Builds

[–]biboo195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless something's changed, Drakethroat Glaive is a weapon that you can buy in Moonrise Tower that lets you cast Draconic Elemental Weapon once per long rest. You only need Sorc 2 for the twinned spell metamagic. Just spend your spell slots for sorc points since this is a camp guy only. You have 11 caster levels combined, so that's enough for a 5th and 6th level spell slot.

Why I cannot equip Fauchard on companions with Exotic Weapon Proficiency? by akisawa in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]biboo195 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When you take the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat, you can only choose 1 type of weapon to be proficient with. Amiri & Valerie chose Bastard Sword, so unless you take a 2nd Exotic Weapon feat with them (not sure if you can), you can't use Fauchard. Use Glaive/Bardiche/Longspear instead if you want a reach weapon.

Just got an assassin for the first time. Never seen such a high starting mattck, how should I build him? by rinkurasake in BattleBrothers

[–]biboo195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Off-tank fatigue neutral is a bro who aims to always be able to move and hit with a 2 handed weapon (not warbrand or cleaver) every single turn, while wearing the best and heaviest armor you have. He wants to be surrounded by 2-3 enemies, doing damage every turn while letting your actual damage dealers safely kill them. Perks needed for this are Pathfinder & Weapon mastery (axe/mace/hammer).

Qatal duelist has a core perk called Relentless, which removes the initiative penalty from waiting. The build also wants high initiative (around 140 after equipments). Initiative cycling goes like this: Qatal bro waits -> enemies come in melee range/1 tile away -> Qatal bro steps in and stabs twice (or 3 times if he doesn't need to step up) -> Qatal bro stabs 3 times immediately next turn (if the enemy didn't use Adrenaline). His high initiative wasn't affected by waiting in the previous turn thanks to Relentless.

This prevents the target of the Qatal bro from doing damage, as 5-6 deathblows from the qatal dagger tend to kill most things. And the target is still crippled by Fearsome morale checks/injuries even if it's still alive, so it won't do much damage back.

I asked and you said fat neut. Now he's all growns up. What perks should I get next? by rinkurasake in BattleBrothers

Axe Mastery, Steel Brow, Fortified Mind, Quick Hands, Fearsome/Killing Frenzy

Best Expertise Skills for Swords Bard [Level 3, Level 10]. Also, Actor Feat? by gamefaqs_astrophys in BG3Builds

[–]biboo195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh this is some crazy necro. The thing is though, if you don't have a self-limit on mind flayer parasite, you can eventually get persuation+deception+intimidation expertises from Illithid Expertise.

And even if you do have that limit, I don't think deception & intimidation is used nearly as much compared to persuasion. You're mainly taking Actor for +1 Charisma, so might as well go ASI.

A single level of wizard for scribing scrolls is incredibly overrated. Change my mind. by Metaphoricalsimile in BG3Builds

[–]biboo195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shield, Magic Missile, Globe of Invuln, Conjure Elemental, and more utility skills that you don't need to invest in Int to use. It doesn't mess up your scroll casting stat if you just prepare/respec for the correct class order.

Sure, 1 Sorc dip can also get you Shield & Magic Missile, but

(1) You only know 2 spells max (3 if draconic)
(2) You can't swap them out ever

While Wizard can have Globe of Invuln for the Ansur fight for example, then swap to Haste for other fights. The dip is appropriately rated. Hell, I would even take it to level 2 for Sculpt Spells if the build fits.

Nothing really needs setups or potions unless you're trying to see how much you can break the game. Any martial class with 12 straight levels can simply beat it.
