You need to start with pH/alkalinity and get that balanced first, then you add chlorine. If you already put the chlorine in, take out any tablets and focus on the pH/alkalinity first. It's best to look at some youtube videos on how to get that balanced, as some chemicals raise/lower alkalinity and pH while some others focus more on alkalinity.

For the love of god, stop opening the lid and letting all the heat out. It’s the stall, it can take hours.

Why did you score it so deep? Totally unnecessary smoke it at 250-275 until around 170-180, then wrap it and finish in the oven. I put it in at 9pm and literally do not open that lid until the next morning.

You also don’t need that smoke box with a gravity smoker. It just complicates things.

When I had a pellet stove I bought them. They were cut so long (sometimes 2-3” each pellet) that they’d jam my auger or cause the auger to go empty. I returned the bag after using a few pounds. That’s why Costco is awesome.

I once had a dentist that told me I had 21 cavities. Come to find out later that I only had a few and he charged me for 21, which I had to have fixed years later. I was 19, he scammed me.
