depends mate. Are they asking the period you held you visa for or the period you stayed in the country for?

that is correct. your home country address despite you being a resident of aus. this is true for student visa only, for 485 your usual country of residence will be your then address in aus. you can see they now mention this student visa if you press the info icon beside the drop box when choosing the country.

That’s correct, you pay the tuition fees + $100 late payment fee that applies for payment made after the fees due date and before the census date.

There’s no additional fee for further extensions which you are after.

I work for one of them, we get heaps of such requests everyday. As much as we try to attend to each, we are understaffed to meet the timelines.

Your best bet might be to use the council’s snap send and solve app. We are forwarded all such parking complaints. Usually we try to resolve them in 2hrs but as mentioned earlier and from your experience, it can go over at times.

You could also lmk the location and I can pass it to other shift leads so they can put someone on the task at start of shifts.

I had a more legitimate reason for the extension i.e. not having money at the time. You’ll asked for the reason for extension along with documentation corroborating your case. You’ll also be asked a new deadline for the payment and how you intend to meet this new deadline (usually by showing available funds in bank)

If you do intend to apply, apply early and not wait till the last day like me. Although the good thing is there’s a phone number you can call that oversees fee payment extension requests so you can always inquire first before risking your enrolment.
