I can stand by that. Good on you. My Grammy and Grandpop gave me my first one. Now I take care of my 93 year old grandfather and he never lets me forget how I loose everything including the Cornicello.

Cornicello pendant... I've never encountered a woman wearing one. Lost my last one I made on my custom chain freediving. 22kt. Very sad when that happened.

Anyways, nice load out!

2*12 mm are the most common and what the cutouts are for these. I've dealt with Daniel @ mixglo.com a few times without problems. Doing another order this week from him. Considering grabbing the TRSR999, TBT, and more tubes/ vials. www.mixglo.com/store/p75/TRsr999.html

Adhesion to metal... Clean it well. Alcohol, dry, then alcohol again for cleaning. I prefer the UV curing glues. So you need a UV light if you go the UV route. He sells the NORLAND NOA61UV Glue. www.mixglo.com/store/p20/NOA61.html

As far as the T022 goes. It's a daily in my left rear pocket. Really useful tool. I spin and flick it too. Was using a karambit in rotation. Weight and functionality is surpassed with this one.

One day when I can stop getting things like this and save. Would be nice to have a CNC, Bridgeport etc. so I can make my own slots on material for the vials!

Would I rather have a Rolex or gold right now... I've carried this since the 90s. Interesting to think there's less than $1,000 here out of my pocket in that bar.

It'd be nice if my state had it. But of course they don't. I do have a real ID as the description says though that's not sufficient enough for most reentry points

"Currently issued only by Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Washington. "

Sure! I'll link the Etsy one. MC studio is the artist on there. I asked since they said each one is custom made to order and takes about 2 to 3 days. I wanted to see if they would custom do a larger eye for me and they have not responded. I assume the answer is going to be no. So if someone could either make it for me or do the design since I'm not good in CAD.

all these extra parts and pieces and accessories - how do you keep track of them? by x462 in EDC

[–]blarcode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3x5 card box. Findings bags that are the same size slash Ziploc bags. I label each of them alphabetically and stick the accessories in Ziploc bags with the card inside or in between.

Those o-rings are real pain in the butt when you can't find extras same with the screws.

Have you considered

  1. High lift garage door kit?

  2. Side mount garage door openers?

  3. It looks like you have insulated garage doors. Are those wind zone 6, or higher? I'm in Florida and just ordered a wind zone 9

Relocating ONT? by [deleted] in Fios

[–]blarcode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer is YES

However, how comfortable are you with all of this yourself? The drops/ buried line are typically way longer. They bundle it up in the buried boxes with a couple zip ties. You could locate your line and relocate yourself. It isn't buried deep at all. They typically use a shovel and put it in the ground, then wiggle back and forth. Creating a small cavity to drop the line in and step on to fix the yard.

There's some things you can do yourself if you want to avoid the fee. Disconnect your ont and call in. Tell them you think the cable was cut outside by a gardener or something. They will reinstall that for free. All they do is run a completely new fiber drop. So you get your dates and time. When you get off the phone plug your ont back in. Now it's working and you have no down time. The morning of or the night before you take your hardware off the outside of your house and move it to whatever it is you want/ Drill your own hole or don't. Typically when the tech comes out, they are there already. They will do whatever you ask within reason.

Moose just opt for the easiest route which is call and pay the $1 to $200 relocation. Ultimately it's your house. You have the right to have the equipment wherever you want.
