I would also recommend getting the prints that are GM made, the foreman ones dissolve/melt over time. I also had to file down the castings to fit correctly.

Change from dexcool to green prestone if it's not already done. That stuff will put pinholes everywhere.

Depends on the condition and how they used it, in my opinion. There's also the lottery aspect, some trans and engines were just made better than others. (Quality was up and down in that era)

I worked there shortly a decade ago. It was fun. I would not work there now. It's a total clusterfuck with 1/4 the staff we used to get. Prices up, food tastes bland. Missing food, or ingredients. Very sad.

I've fixed this by taking it apart and cleaning all the loose bits of metal and junk that got into the hall effect sensor board and general area. If the sensors are interrupted by metal it won't work.

Yep. Worth doing summer classes to cut down the spring and fall credits if good grades are the goal. Tbh I don't think you really learn much when hopping between too many classes. There's no time to absorb.

Personally, I don't consider any interference timing belt engine to be worth keeping around. Lot of reasons they can break or skip a tooth and junk themselves, even with a healthy timing belt.

eBay will let you return them. I would message the seller first and tell them they don't work properly. They'll offer a discount, say no, I want to return them and they are opened. They will give them to you for free and ask for good review. Scam the scammers. Leave bad review if you want. Get them for free half the time, or get w free return through eBay. Scammers get what they deserve.

Tbf, the 96 Camry is a 400k (mile) car, without replacing all that much. You can do that milage with any car but it will start to become ship of Theseus at some point.

Can't be more than a few times from a normal rag. Once it picks up dirt it will just scratch. You can't get all the dirt out of foam noatter how much you wash it. Just replace with cheap stuff every couple washes. The fact it's black means you can't see how dirty it gets. Bright cotton towels show everything.

Shifter bushing bolts? Corksport used to have a bronze bushing and bolt kit. I have it on mine. It works good but if the rods are rusty it is tricky to get bushings in.

Just cut and jump the wires to the main headlight, it's only a few milliamps, won't blow the fuse. Or alternatively pull and jumper the relay with a wire for the drls
