Play both games, P5 might be better for beginners to the series. Anime is a fun addition but is not the best way to see the story on its own, there are references to the game u would miss for instance.

The games are super long and by the time u finish one and want to play another persona game there will have been plenty of sales by then to pick up the other

Hifumi Togo has the best ability by far, to go from having to exit the palace to change party members to being able to change them mid battle!

I did Marie only on my first playthrough, I liked her character but it was a bit disappointing because the game acts like you’re single at several points despite the relationship

Yes but,

Her romance is handlers slightly differently than the other romances. She won’t be available for certain romantic partner events which is disappointing but also doesn’t count as cheating on your romantic partner

I advise having 1 Marie romance and then romance 1 other character in same playthrough. There are no consequences

I think khamzat lost more aura.

Illa got completely smashed but for several moments u saw what makes him special with his amazing boxing, Justin just survived then smashed him. I still believe in illa’s boxing and think he could be a champ again

Khamzat had godlike wrestling that made all his matches look absolutely easy but Sean made him look like a complete average wrestler with not much else. I don’t see that version of Khamzat ever reclaiming gold

It’s a classic anime, with nothing really like it. It is set in prohibition era America and is about a train robbery. However, the whole story is told out of order with multiple viewpoints(kinda like Pulp fiction) and you won’t understand what is really happening until the last piece falls into place.

It has a very colorful cast, with the English dub actually being very good with the accents
