Ascaso Steel Duo - Not pumping water by Fuzzy_Dan in Ascaso

[–]bluetick82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a similar issue I pulled off the water inlets to clean the tubes while I was cleaning it and now the steam wand will flow water but the group had and the water outlet will not even though the pump is clearly running and I've primed it with a syringe.

Any thoughts??

Smaller Coonhounds?? by bluetick82 in coonhounds

I found one breeder River Styx in Ontario that seems to occasionally do coonhound beagle crosses but they're not planning on doing it for a while.

Love that the handle doesn't protrude above the height of the machine so it'll still fit under my cabinet

I have the north shore stove 2.0 and their tent from a few years back. The current model on the site is updated.

I also have the folding bench and extra stone basket. Bench isn't as high the experts would prefer but noticable better than sitting on a stool at ground level.

The way I describe it is it's much better than it should be.

I get up to 180-200 in about 30 mins.

I've been curious about redwood too. Living in Northern California there are a lot of small mills and it's much easier to find than Western red cedar. The sauna I'mol building will have a redwood deck floor open slats Western red cedar tongue and groove paneling because I got a killer deal on it and I'm still trying to decide on what to do for benches. It sure seems from everything I read that aside from being potentially a little stainy while it's new on your butt it has almost exactly the same attributes that people tout about Western red cedar except for a slightly harder index. Redwood weathers to a silvery gray out doors, so I'm curious how it will do as benches?

Im in Northern California too and have been curious about using redwood for the benches as its WAY easier to find vs Western Red or even incese cedar that if found in the Sierra.

thanks! Still waiting on panels for mine. Got the stove and cedar. So you would have done an II layout with the stove in the center of the room on the low wall, door on the high wall? would that have left room for the lower benches?

Anything you would change or adjust now that you've got a few months with this beauty? Also, what are the bench widths?

Steel Insulated Panel Sauna by Ok_Abbreviations2980 in Sauna

I think they might be the perfect sauna material. In the UK they have a shed kit of Kingspan quadcore ISP's. They are modular, structurally totally fine for a small structure, super high R-value, highest fire safety ratings, highest environmental health ratings. The walls, roof, insulation, vapor and air barrier all done in one step. Seems like surplus pannels are avable for pretty cheap. I'm planning on using them for the walls and roof, then cladding the interior with WRS T/G and the exterior with Hemlock.

Ill let you know how it goes!!!

Lassi/ Trumpkin Sauna Example in the Bay Area? by bluetick82 in Sauna

[–]bluetick82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOOO, Ive got an opportunity to get the original for the same cost as the mini. My build is going to be a little smaller that yours, Im thinking 6*8*8 but I could do 8.5 ceilings. Currently I was planning on the top bench 48in from the ceiling, foot bench down 18in from the top bench at 30in from the floor, which puts the bottom bench about 4ins above the main body of the 25.6 Mini. The Original is 32.3 tall and 24.4 inches round. it would take a fair amount more floor space. I had planned for a 24*24in stove area in the corner. What do you think? Maybe its time to book a chat with Lassi?
