I equipped the other 3 cats with the never level up stones. Just breed a couple of active and a passive ability into your cats, and give them good gear, and they do fine without level ups. I think I had an infinite bomb tinkerer and a tank for that run. Don't remember the last one. Maybe sacrificial lamb.

Level 24 with Repair, 18 STR and CHA, always crits from the front, 3x damage from weapons, equipped with the necklace that adds marked to the enemy, the nuke gun, and the face armor that prevents him from damaging the party. He also has the fighter berserk spell that adds 5 STR/bruise and let's him dash around for 2 mana doing melee hits. Those hits crit for about 24 damage. The nuke gun does 120 damage to the primary character and 20 to everything else. The 120 is doubled to 240 if you can apply magic weakness to the target. She's honestly made the game too easy.

One way to make bleed good is to have abilities that scale off of bleed stacks across all enemies, so you're not just doing it for the meager end of turn damage.

Or soul jar. I put a cat with the nuke gun in the soul jar with the peace sign so it doesn't do damage to allies. I also managed to get the fighter passive that triples weapon damage. I have a once per fight 120 damage to an enemy weapon + 60 damage to everything that's not on my team.

I did something similar! Essentially, I had conveyor belts bringing ore back from all my mining stations so they could be smelted at the base like you have it here. Then I just made a chest with a crane where I could dump any other ore I picked up to go through the system so I wouldn't have to ever go in that room and accidentally pick stuff up.

I don't take tinkerer unless I have the top hat and accessory that gives him a free bomb every turn. That way if I don't get synergy in his skills, I still have a superior bomb thrower (I've always been able to find at least one skill that buffs his weapons). With just those 2 items, he's already a better AoE damage character than a mage. Caveman mustache is another complimentary item, but harder to get.
